Martin Acoustics are undoubtedly some of the finest in the world and this 15 Series 00015ME is no exception. Everything about this instrument is supreme, from immense build quality to an incredible sound. Built from genuine, fine woods the attention to detail is outstanding. A magnificent model from Martin that is ideal for anyone up to professional level. The solid top, back and sides are made from genuine Mahogany and look amazing. The deep colour with a subtle grain really shows the quality of this wood when it is completed in an unobtrusive smooth, satin finish. The Tortoiseshell style pickguard really adds to the simple but effective look. What about the sound? For a relatively small bodied guitar, this 000-15M displays nothing but clarity and articulation across its entire tonal spectrum. The rich tones that are produced have a very rounded, bright sound. You get all the nice highs and mids, but you also get some of the bass frequencies pushing through which makes for a great sonic experience. This model has a built in Fishman preamp and pickup system. There are no controls and the strap button marries up as a jack input. This guitar is really all about the acoustic tone, it's just nice to be able to plug it in for live shows. It is very responsive and is definitely one to have with you in the studio, stick a microphone in front of it and you will be blown away. The sound is perfect, fit for any professional including the likes of Gabrielle Aplin who has been incredibly successful and uses this model!
