Excellent quality for the price. Couldn't ask for more, a great set.

I bought this for a close friend as a house warming gift. She was here when it was delivered so I had an opportunity to see some pieces right out of the box. The pattern is nice but the carving knife was not nearly as heavy as I had hoped. Also on one side of the knife handle, there were numerous scratches while the other side was flawless....I did not make a big deal out of it since it's not a piece that will be used that often....but I do wonder what the handles on the other pieces look like and I intend to bring up the subject with my friend shortly . I'll update my review as I get more information from my friend. It was a good price for so many pieces but I hope this is not a case of being too good to be true and the other pieces have scratches on them too....Stay tuned. The jury is out on this set for now.UPDATE AUG.22,2014My friend reports no rust spots so far. She lives in rural Georgia and is on well water so she has an issue with spots at times despite using several kinds of dishwasher detergent. She says the spots wipe right off. This set is being used by a family with children so it gets a work out each meal. She said that the bottom of a fork says: "18/10 stainless Made in China". There is no name of the manufacturer or name of the pattern. It's probably sold under a number of different pattern names, depending on who is selling it. She likes it ! I'll update IF any rust issues develop in the future.
