Lovely look and feel to the tap, but it is quite large so be sure to take note of the dimensions.Also be aware that a reasonable amount of undersink space is required for installation. What is not included in the pictures or information is that, in addition to the boiler and filter, a small expansion tank is also part of the system that needs to be installed under the sink. This is approximately the size of a honeydew melon!To get boiling water from the tap you have to hold your finger on the touch button for 3 seconds to disable the child lock, and then press the other touch button to dispense the water.This is mildly irritating and not as quick as the Quooker or other boiling water taps, but not the end of the world.Installation was relatively straight forward and only required a couple of 15mm flexible tap adapters (available from amazon, or screwfix “fltt38”) to provide a thread for the flex pipes to screw on to.Overall a very good looking and seemingly well made solution.

The media could not be loaded. Hi the tap is flashing purple light and no hot water can I get a replacement of the boiler?

Just out of warranty and the boiling water hose started leaking. Grohe and their service provider were unable to supply a replacement hose and have both suggested that the only option is to buy a whole new unit including boiler and tap! £1295 because one hose leaks!! Will buy another boiling tap but not Grohe

I bought the previous version of this tap 3 years ago and it started leaking a few weeks ago. It's not dripping, it really pours water when we use it. I've contacted Grohe in different ways but no one seems to be interested in helping me solve the issue. I managed to find a replacement part for the cheramics inside but that wasn't the problem. So here I am with a very expensive tap that I have to throw in the garbage bin just because the Grohe service is so poor.Except from that we have loved the Tap and used it many times every day. But now we'll probably change brand to something different and hopefully we'll get better service this time if something happens to it.

it's been great because when I want my morning coffee I don't have to wait for the kettle to boil. The tap is really nice looking.
