9330 009330 Mealworm Treat, 10 oz

Our Chickens are very happy with these meal-worms, and I'm happy with the price. Compared to what we were paying per ounce at our Local Tractor Supply Store, these are a good deal, even though it's a dollar shock to buy the big 11# bad, it's much cheaper in the long run, than by the ounce in the farm stores. Although I didn't sample them...tee hee, the Chickens seemed delighted with their worms, and it will help to boast their protein level and keep them warm in the terrible 25 below zero weather we been getting slammed with. {They are inside,with a heat lamp, but it's still cold out there.} The worms seemed very fresh, so thumbs up from me and the girls! {{{ UPDATE}}} March 23,2018. My husband now calls himself the Chicken Whisperer, as before the Mealworms, the girls were stubborn in giving up their free ranging time, before dusk. Now when he does evening chorus, even if the sun is still out,,,,they actually follow him, to go into their chicken house!!! LOL These worms, plus our organic feed have given us beautiful large eggs, with stand up yokes and very hard shells! Very happy!!! Just sad all meal worms come from China, otherwise happy!!! Trying another brand this time, no reason, except they say they are Non GMO and Organic, I have a idea they all come from the same place, as they all come from China. Ugg. Hope they are as good as this brand have been!

Had bought these before and they were good whole worms that the birds loved. Ordered again since the kind I recently had been ordering was going to take over a week to arrive and this time they are all broken up and more "worm dust" than they are worms. Very disappointed since I feed a couple of hundred birds daily and expect good quality for the price (+tax) paid.

These worms are the happiest part of my duck's day! She gets approx. 1 heaping tablespoon on top of her daily food and she just loves them. She occasionally gets earthworms as well. Our neighbors have chickens and they love these worms too! I highly recommend them.

We have 30+ chickens and they love their nightly treat! Was purchasing these from our local feed & seed store, but they haven't been restocking their inventory on the big bag, so I decided to try Amazon this time. This is a different brand from what I was getting there... and they seem to be better quality than theirs. Other reviewers complained of these mealworms being all broken up, but that wasn't the case with the bag we just got. If anything they were in better condition than the ones I was purchasing from our local store. Happy with the purchase and will purchase again

Beware, I received 11 pounds of moldy mealworms. I have been feeding mealworms to my chickens as a treat for years. I have bought in bulk from several different vendors, typically based on price as the quality is generally the same. Not this time. There is visible moisture on the inner surface of the bag and the mealworms have mold on them. Disgusting and not suitable to feed my animals.

Its a good product. But its not from north dakota as other reviewers have said. Package clearly says china. My package was clean and did not have mold issues others were complaining about. Almost all mealworms are from China, so not a huge surprise. The hens seem to like them as good as any other worms.

Our regular feed store was out of meal worms and we feed the blue birds all year long. Worked out great. Thanks

The birds in my neighborhood love these meal worms. Everybody come to eat them, blue birds, Carolina wrens, chickadees, tickmouse, etc. I envoy whatching them every day.
