Perfect fit for my unconventional use case
I needed a pull-out tray for a small but surprisingly heavy appliance in my pantry. Cabinet makers weren't able to find anything suitable, but this pull-out shelf is a perfect fit for my existing cabinet. The dimensional drawings gave enough detail to make an informed purchasing decision, the adjustable rails work well, and it turns out, this was the only shelf on Amazon with these particular dimensions. So, I guess I got lucky that it fits perfectly after a minor adjustment to the rails. It might not be the sturdiest construction compared to some of the over-engineered 19" equipment that I have previously bought. But it is plenty strong to hold my appliance and then some. Most competing shelves are in the shape of an upside-down U. That makes them even stronger, but wastes an inch or two of space. I like that this particular shelf is very space efficient. Every inch counts when installing in a tight location. Finally, a surprising benefit of the adjustable rails was the fact that the mounting ears can be reconfigured to point out (as needed for installation into a 4-poster 19" rack) or in (as needed for installation onto a flat back wall. That made my work much easier. The only real downside was the packaging. It had all come loose by the time it was delivered. A flimsy piece of foam in a single-wall cardboard box is simply not enough for a heavy and bulky item. One of the mounting ears had deformed badly. But nothing that a pair of channel locks and gentle application of force couldn't fix. Whew. Good as new.

Perfect
Nice sliding action with a bit of a "stop" to keep it from sliding out on its own. It took a little fiddling to get the rails positioned right so that the drawer is flush with the front of the rack and the rails extend far enough to the back, but once set up right it was simple to install. Sliding action is nice and smooth, it's great for easy access to whatever you need. If you want to use it with a keyboard, I'd suggest a TKL because the full-size keyboards with the number pads tend to be just a bit too wide to fit comfortably.

Very high quality
Slide mechanisms are very nice and smooth. It requires both front and back be mounted to be stable which I didn't pay attention to when I bought it; my fault. So I have to fabricate a way to utilize it on my audio desk but it's such high quality that I am considering it worth the effort rather than return it for something else.

Great slider, harmed by poor packaging :(
As many others have found, the packaging is so bad that two ears arrived pretty badly bent.I have the tools and experience to quickly repair this (clamp in a vise!)Moving on: this shelf is...* VERY strong when mounted on all four corners* Built with smooth, quiet sliding railsNOTE: they say up to 21 inch depth. NO!! My rack is 20 inches deep. The second screw on each side barely catches.

Works great, better than the reviews
Honestly, I was skeptical about buying the first one of these. Not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from. But I had such a good experience I bought a second one. It's sturdy, slides effortlessly, and is heavy-duty. It just takes a little common sense to install it. Install and adjust the side rails first, then slide the drawer in.

Perfect keyboard drawer
I am using this as a keyboard drawer in an audio/video/computer rack and it is perfect.

Good rack with poor quality control
Got 2 of these racks and the first one worked perfectly. The second one I ordered came with bent rack ears that look like it was bent as it was being assembled. No visible paint chips that would signify it was damaged in transit — but rather just bad quality control. Definitely the last time I’m buying from this brand.
