The instructions for this product are not good... they are just pictures with no words. But since it's just a simple lamp, I can let that slide. However, the design of the mounting fixture and the quality of the hardware is terrible. BOTH mounting screws stripped, forcing me to add unsightly washers to tighten the fixture to the ceiling. Further, the bottom portion (lamp shade piece) also stripped, causing the whole lamp shade to sit crooked. I finally got it to sit straight by literally taping it instead of screwing it in as intended. None of this would have been a problem if better quality materials were used that don't strip on first use. It's only saving grace is that it looks good and it's relatively cheap for a hanging light fixture. I would avoid.

Installation instructions aren't very detailed, but I was able to work out how everything should be connected and in what order with only a little difficulty. Installed light looks great in my room! Be sure to wipe off the plastic shade before installing (if using) - it's kind of a pain to get it back out once the light is hanging, and any debris or dust on the shade will be very visible when you turn the light on.

This was a really pretty quality light fixture. The color was beautiful but it was not what I was looking for so I did send it back. It was much darker than it appeared and I was looking for more of a silver gray. Definitely would recommend this product but just be aware that it is very dark gray.

We will adjust stars if manufacturer reaches out to assist. Directions more cryptic renderings than IKEA. Inadequate. No parts inventory, so we were mid job before noticing missing part. -- the rectangle with two holes with green wire going through--, (see photo) Not sure what it does-- no explanations. Stuck mid job, with mess and no light installed.

My boyfriend and I have this hanging in our dining room and we love it. We will most likely buy more for our house. The installation was not terrible. The option to have the screen or no screen (to dim light or expose bulbs) is very nice. We kept the screen on. We have received compliments on this light fixture.

I would have given this 5 stars, but there are some slight imperfections around the base of the fabric covered part. It is not really noticeable but it' snot perfect.Also, it is a little difficult to get it to be perfectly perpendicular to the ceiling-- especially if the mounting box in your ceiling is not straight. I figured it out and you will too.

Not easy to install. In fact we had to “make it work” with the lights over the shade. It didn’t make sense. No clear directions. The wires lost there labels as they were threaded. It looked ok up.. but we took it down and went with something else. Wouldn’t recommend.

Nice simple light fixture. Great size and color. Easy to install and looks great for the price. Color looks lightly yellowish when light is on but that’s to be expected, still looks great.
