Quality product, decent taste.
Purchased this as a peanut butter alternative due to an illness (and the associated inflammatory nature of peanut butter). At first, the taste took some getting used to, because, after all, it is 100% organic without sugar. While plain, organic peanut butter does have a certain sweetness that I've grown accustomed to, this does not. The taste you think of when you imagine ground up, blended smooth sunflower seeds is exactly what you get. With that said, like anything, all it took was time for me to get used to! Now, I really like it!

It’s worth the money.
Delicious, more protein than peanut butter. And one ingredient. My grand baby is allergic to peanuts. This IS the best.If your using it as a spread for a child. Make sure you’ve put butter or jelly with because it’s truly “dry” with only one ingredient ( no added oil) it’s hard to swallow on bread, toast isn’t a problem, so when thinking this through, it would be the bread is hard to swallow. On crackers, celery, apples, in recipes, perfect.

Broken Safety seals, All Bottles Arrived Leaking Oil
I was really looking forward to trying this. The first thing I noticed after opening the box was that all three bottles were covered in oil. Upon further inspection I found that one bottle's seal was separated half way around. The other two didn't have any separation in the seal, yet there was a lot of oil on top of the seals. There were several small puncture holes in the seals of both of these bottles, and when turned upside down there was leakage from the holes. Very disappointing. It doesn't seem likely this could have been the fault of Amazon or the shipper, as the seals are protected by the lids, which were intact.

The best thing since sliced bread!
This version of sunbutter is delicious, but remember that it doesn't contain salt. So if you're looking for a richer flavor, add salt to whatever you put it on. Sometimes, I add Himalayan sea salt to banana and then add organic sunbutter. Most of the time, it's just fine on its own. The texture is smooth but not super runny. They oils will separate a bit, so you may need to stir right when you open the jar. I don't usually need to stir it after that. I eat sunbutter ever day and this organic option is super great.

Pretty good as an alternative to peanut butter
I discovered I had allergies to peanut butter so I tried this. I'm not crazy about it, but it's a good enough alternative, especially with some Crofter's blueberry spread!

Yummy & no additives
This sunflower seed butter has a nice roasted taste & is very creamy. The consistency is actually runny compared to peanut butter. I just pour it out of the jar, but it is still thick. I've never eaten it like a "peanut" butter & jelly sandwich, I usually mix it into yogurt with fruit. It also makes a good fruit dip if mixed with equal parts of coconut oil, a little cocoa, & a little honey. If you freeze the dip in mini muffin papers, it becomes "candy". All in all, very tasty & no additives.

I guess my taste buds are different from the masses...
I, unfortunately for me, picked up a 3 pack of Sunbutter to have on hand while doing Whole30. While I like peanut butter, I rarely eat it - not for any specific reason. Same with almond butter. I like sunflower seeds - I always sprinkle them on my salads and I snack on them from time to time. No reason for me to not like Sunbutter right? I've tried it warm. I've tried it cold. I've tried dipping apple slices in it. I've tried drizzling it over a sliced banana. I've added salt. I've added more salt. I can't get past the bitter taste of it. It's a nice consistency. It must just be my taste buds as the majority of the reviews are positive. The sell by date on my jars is April 2017.

SunButter Organic Sunflower Seed Spread
I have been eating Almond Butter, but I wanted to try something different and save a little money. Almond Butter is delicious, but expensive when compared to Peanut Butter. When I first read about the SunButter Organic Sunflower Seed Spread, I read it tasted like Peanut Butter. When I got it, it didn't taste like Peanut Butter at all. Matter of fact, it tasted a little bitter. Then I put it in the refrigerator and tried it the next day again. It definitely tasted better when cold than it does when it is warm.I have tried it with some apples, mixed in with some oatmeal, and just a tablespoon of it as a snack. I'm really enjoying the taste and the price and have an order coming every month. Still doesn't taste as good as Almond Butter, but at nearly half the price, I'll take it.
