This little light is really impressive and extremely useful.First off, the quality of everything from the light itself down to the carry case and little shoe mount is awesome. I was really impressed with the attention to detail like a hidden slot for a hex wrench in the case and anti-slip rubber on the shoe mount. These are just things that most other makers don’t think about.I love love love the extending/folding arm built into here. If you screw in the shoe mount you can get this light away from the center of your camera which can sometimes give a better look, you can angle the light when mounted on a light stand which would usually require a separate ball head or umbrella bracket, and you can stand it on its own extremely easily, still controlling the angle to a certain extent. Very smart design here.I like to judge ease of use based on how easy something is to use without reading the manual, and this fared pretty well. It’s not like things are labeled super clearly, but it’s simple enough that a few minutes of playing around will let you figure out how everything works. The middle dial’s push function was the key to jumping around in certain modes, so don’t miss that.Color controls in HSI mode are easy, and you have 9 different special effects built in. Despite the small size you get a good amount of control over the effects too.The small display screen is clear and easy to read, with key information like battery life, color and brightness all shown at all times.Quality of light is of course also important, and I found it to be good. I don’t have advanced color measuring tools at my disposal, but shooting a grey card and checking the white balance seemed to have a good performance with pretty accurate Kelvin readings.At the low to mid range of the kelvin range in white mode, there was a little magenta shift, but not huge.In color mode, the lower saturations, lower than about 40%, and lower powers (about the same) didn’t seem to have as much of a wide color range or accurate color, but I imagine that’s technically hard for a small RGB light to do because of the number of LED chips so I won’t hold it against it.Generally- I love having very fine control over the brightness, color and everything else here. I don’t feel held back by anything the light does or doesn’t do and I’ve never found myself wishing for better build quality or anything at all really. This is an extremely versatile little light and I’ll have a lot of fun with it.

For the price this is a very versatile light. We did a lot of night shooting w/ this on our camera rig and it burned long into the night without ever running out of battery. The production company provided this light and I liked it so much I bought one for myself.

Small package power punch, these light can cover just about everything you need for light.

This is hands down the best small led light on the market. The build quality, the features, the bracket, everything about this led light is fantastic and I won't be buying any other led light

this light is absolutely perfect. It comes in handy in every which way. I can just pull it out whenever I need a little light somewhere and it's there in all the colors of the rainbow.

Awesome product rugged build high quality light output

I've went onto several sets these past 2 weeks with this light, and its a winner in any environment. However I will say, The mountining bracket that comes with it is overly large for any situation - I would consider this over kill size - however, comparing the bracket to a smaller version I own, you can offset the light to make it alot softer on your footage.The mounting screw that comes with is sure as sh*t to fail - cheapest thing in the package, and its slipped several times falling to the hard concrete floor inside of club environment - I had to stop mounting the light in that setting due to the unpredictability of the mount. This would be a -1 ... but this light has bonus points allowing me to go the FULL GAMBIT of the rainbow, even the most saturated of tones.A1. Sturdiness, my light 2 weeks in isn't so pretty due to the falls, but what better way to to test its might.Will be buying 2 more to have a nice 3 pack moving forward into the future.

I was able to get 4+ hours running on full power both in normal light and HSI mode. Check out my video review.
