Disney Princess: P Is for Princess Hardcover – Lift the flap, February 12, 2013

Purchased this NOT realizing it was used (my fault, not the sellers - didn’t read carefully!) but it’s been a hit. I thought for being used it was also in fairly good shape. There was only one flap messed up.This is great for kiddos learning ABCs with an interest geared at them - princesses, in my daughter’s case!

We liked this book so much that we bought multiple copies to give as gifts. Great for as young as 2 years (just be careful opening the flaps as the paper can tear off if they pull too hard - we actually ignored the flaps until the little one turned 3 and she realized they were there).Very sturdy book, great content, good way to introduce the alphabet and tracing letters, lots of different princesses and exposure to new words, beautiful pictures. Very well done. We also recommend S is for Sofia, though P is for Princess has more variety. We keep one book in the living room and the other version in the car. Good for a child to "read" alone or with someone else.

Cute book, my 3-yo daughter knows her ABC's but the book helps her with words associated with those letters by use of tabs. For instance, the letter L is Rapunzel and Flynn (ok, Eugene Fitzherbert!) sitting in their boat watching the lanterns, so there are multiple tabs where you unfold and reveal all the related words that begin with the letter L. It's a fun book, though I would knock it down a half-star in my rating if I could because many of the tabs are a little difficult even for little fingers to pry open. Overall, though, I would recommend for any young reader who's a fan of Disney princesses.

I bought this book on Amazon because my 3 yr old grand daughter was obsessed with Disney Princesses. I was hoping she would look at more then the Princess pics. 8 weeks later (today) I was in a park garden with her and pointed out a sign. She was able to tell me each letter and she was right! My daughter told me that they read the book to her a lot and she learned quickly from her favorite book.

My 2 year old daughter loves this book and thinks it is so fun to associate the alphabet letters to her favorite princesses. She takes it with her everywhere, and we read it every day! Some of the letters could have better sentences to go with it, but overall this is an AMAZING book to teach a Disney obsessed child about the alphabet.

We wanted a book that our toddler would love while learning the basics. This book satisfies that - it teaches ABCs and also features all of the Disney princesses. Our daughter likes it a lot, but it is not her favorite. Also, side note: I am a teacher and I think this book was written poorly. The writers tried to get creative in featuring a different princess for each letter of the alphabet and ran out of ideas mid-way through because the ratio of princesses to letters in the alphabet is obviously unequal so the pages become sort of nonsense at certain points in the book. If this oversight does not bother you, no big deal.

This book was way thicker and bigger than I had imagined but I suppose it has to be with all of the flaps in it. The book has several flaps on each page, is colorful and a spot to trace the indented letter. I purchased this one used and was pleased with the book and the condition that it came it.

O livro é lindo, bem colorido. Minha bebê de 1 ano ama as princesas e as páginas são bem grossas, perfeitas pra ela manusear. No entanto, fiquei decepcionada já que esperei tanto pelo livro e ele chegou todo sujo e amassado.
