the fabric is fine but the hand is to big and not looking nice on my friend

As per a previous commentator, I bought this jacket and found it to be too small. I needed a new jacket because my others which are all 42R are now too large and I measure 41" so thought, given the other comments, that the 42 listed should be ideal. Unfortunately, it was far too small across the shoulders and chest which is obviously the key measurement for a jacket. D3G were fantastic, though, and exchanged it for the next size up which arrived by the end of the week. The material is good quality and has some slight imperfections in it, which you would expect from a nice tweed. My recommendation would be to select the size above that which you think you need and it is a surprise that the manufacturer or supplier hasn't spotted this and checked the sizing. Had it been the correct size, this would have been 5* but the additional £10 cost of returning it, makes for a slightly unsatisfactory purchase.

I bought a similar size jacket from another company 2 years ago. It fits well. However it would appear that even though labels are the same, the product size is different, and I find this disappointing. Someone once told me to never buy clothes online, and only ever to trust clothes I have actually fitted on in a fitting room to make sure it fits. Primark is a typical example. Even though the label says XXXL or 48 the actual size is 44 or 46 if you're lucky. Perhaps because is the east men are generally smaller and in the west they are bigger. So now I face a dilemma. Buy clothes ONLY from American stores and suppliers? Really? At least they cater for big men like me. Everything is made in China nowadays.

The jacket is very good quality and good value for money. It is however a little on the smaller side for that size. If torn between sizes go for the bigger size.
