This is another good technique to know. I bought the book and then set it aside. Finally watched the three U Tube videos and now I'm hooked. Scrappers in particular will like this way of doing HST.

This looks like an interesting technique, I love to try out new ones. I want to try it as soon as I finish the one I am working on. Instructions are clear, with plenty of drawings and photos to help you understand.

A great method and a fun read! Quilters will love the new methods and designs.

I prefer to think of myself as "coordinated scrappy" and this book is perfect! I'm not someone who can grab two random scraps out of a basket and sew them together. So the idea that you can make a quilt with a ton of different fabrics that has a consistent palette but still has a scrappy feel was awesome. I've already made a Jazz Square with the Accordion HST technique and I can't wait to try some more. I loved the fact that once you laid out your fabrics in order, your quilt almost made itself! Friends who saw me make my Accordions couldn't believe how quickly it all went together. They're hooked and want to try it, too!

I was skeptical that HSTs could be fun, and that my quilt would come out looking as fabulous as the pictures. It was fun! And my quilt looks just like Beth said it would! The book has several more patterns that I want to make! The directions are clear, the pictures give you the confidence that you have completed each step correctly, and there are videos available if you need extra support. If that isn't enough, ask Beth directly via email, Facebook, or inviting her to your guild meeting! I really like this book.

This is a well written, easy to read, follow & understand the Accordion HST method. The snark comes free😂. I was a block tester for the cover quilt & had no knowledge of what the final quilt was going to look like(truth in advertising) & had never sewed a HST this way. It was fast, and once I “put a pin it”, smooth sailing! When I received my copy of the book I was very surprised by the number of quilt projects that I want to do! Hurdy Gurdy being #1.
