I bought three of these to use in the winter in rooms with plants that need humidity to thrive. The humidifiers are modern, not intrusive, quiet, and have a decent water reservoir. I currently used filtered water from my refrigerator; distilled water is not feasible. I haven't noticed any problems (scale, deposits, etc.) in the two months I've used these. Of note, the three I purchased were "used, like new condition." They work perfectly.The humidifiers are quiet, only noticeable if the house has no other noise and you are in the same room. Once in a rare while, you'll hear a bubble move through the system. They have an analog-style dial to set the humidity. The humidifiers emit a very fine mist that dissipates quickly in air.Overall, I recommend this humidifier. It will keep 1-2 rooms at a much more comfortable humidity during the winter. One will not suffice for the whole house, but they work well for smaller areas and near tropical plants.

I use this product for my 2 year old daughter who is very sensitive to the dry cold weather we're experiencing. Her last humidifier literally stripped the finish off her dresser from the molten water it spit out in large drops, and required to be refilled every 6-8 hours as well as clogged after every use from the build up of calcium. This product is a dream come true compared to that nightmare. It sprays a fine mist that has an adjustable vent to allow you to let out as little or as much water as you prefer. It's a cool mist so you don't have to worry about the water being too hot. It's totally silent so it won't keep anyone up at night if you use it while sleeping. It can run for up to 24 hours without being filled again and automatically shuts off when it's out of water. All in all I don't have a negative thing to say. As far as the seller, this arrived in less than 48 hours and completely as described. Would definitely order again and recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional humidifier at a bargain price.

Tried this out after the Crane humidifier I ordered stopped working. I've had a much better experience with this so far. It's easier to fill, easier to clean, and easier to carry thanks to a handle on the back of the top tank. The only problem I've had is that it produced some white residue that settled in the room I was using it in. I'm guessing from other reviews I've read here that this is due to minerals in the water where I live. It's been somewhat better about that after two cleanings. The water where I live isn't bad enough to justify getting distilled water, and my Brita filter doesn't really take out minerals as far as I can tell.Another pro of this unit over the Crane humidifier is that the one I received came with a manual! The manual was really helpful as it outlined two ways of cleaning the humidifier: one with a mixture of water and vinegar to reduce mineral deposits and another with water mixed with a small amount of bleach to disinfect.I don't find the noise it makes to be disruptive. It's a low humming noise with the occasional sound of water bubbling up from below the tank. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this unit.Update: After putting this away for the summer, I took it out late last year during Fall when the air started getting drier. It's still working great! I clean it out with vinegar about once a week and with a solution of bleach and water about once a month. So this is the second season I'm using it and it's still been working reliably.

Purchased 2 of these 4 years ago. Simple, works well. I dropped and broke one, so just bought another. I only use distilled water from the grocery store, so zero "white dust" in room. It needs periodic cleaning with a little bit of bleach in water (as in instructions) - this is quick & easy. Pretty quiet white noise. When lifting the empty tank to refill it, it drips a little, so avoid keeping it on a surface that might be marred by a few drops of water. Good buy.

I bought this same humidifier in another color over a year ago and this one seemed a bit bigger. No complaints though! I need more moisture in my apartment and this thing blasts the mist into the air. The tank is the perfect size. The humidifier can last all night, on the highest setting, if you fill the tank completely. It has a slight hum noise, but it's definitely a soft white noise. Doesn't bother me.

I bought this humidifier in Feb 2020. Initially, it was quiet and everything seemed to work fine, but after a couple of months of use it started making a lot of noise.Now in April 2021, overnight I woke up with a smell of burning plastic or something in the room and found that the humidifier wasn't producing mist and was hot to touch. Tried turning it on in the morning, didn't work.While it worked, I used the recommended KAZ Protec cartridges, but still found white mineral deposits in the lower part of the humidifier, so then also started using vinegar once a month to clean it up. So disappointed that it only lasted a year.Although it says that it has a 2 year manufacturer warranty, but the return conditions stated don't really inspire confidence. The fact that it has to be shipped by the consumer, with $10 for return shipping added and the warranty document saying that it only covers manufacturing defects and not the failure due to normal wear of the product, I do not plan to try my luck there.

I've been using this humidifier for about two weeks and I'm very happy with the purchase, especially at the price I paid. The tank has a huge capacity and the unit runs and provides a visible mist for about 12 hours at around the 50-60% setting. I have another Honeywell that continues to serve me well but that one only has 2 output settings so the dial on this model was a welcome upgrade. I have 2 minor complaints: when lifting the tank off the base there is almost no way to avoid dripping from the top or the bottom; also the power indicator light doesn't turn red to show the power is off when the unit is out of water like my other unit does. Sure, it's pretty easy to see no mist is coming out, but is it off? I didn't think those minor complaints warranted a reduction in star rating. I recommend this product.

I bought it a month back... it’s working fine... but it’s not completely silent.... I can make out it’s running noise at night !But a good product!

If you have lime in your water. This humidifier will put a white powder in the area it’s ruining.

Product is good..it does it's work. No sound at all. But it was not appropriate for my room as the room was small and even if I keep the knob to lowest point it made room too hot hence returned it.
