I have some ribbed crew socks which I've had for over ten years and which have apparently been discontinued years ago judging by the hours I've searched the internet and the money I've spent trying to find them. It's been hundreds of hours and as many dollars! The first two pictures included here are of the ten year old sock and the new for comparison. The Chaps sock which I received today which I'm reviewing seems to be the answer to my hundreds of hour of searching. I bought five pair so far and if they prove to hold up to the wash and drying and wear I will be buying more. I will let you know.

If you want socks that scrunch up inside your shoes and that you continually have to pull up on your ankles, these are the socks for you.Pro: The color is gorgeous. I bought them for a Halloween costume, and the color is absolutely perfect for that.Cons: But, otherwise, these socks are a total waste of money. They fall down your legs, they scrunch up inside of your shoes, and they are wildly uncomfortable to walk in. They didn't even last 15 minutes each time I pulled them back up my ankle. Total waste of money.
