I Surf, Therefore I Am: A Philosophy of Surfing

I am a California Standup surfer. Dr. Kreeft is one of the primary reasons I am Roman Catholic. I listen to a MP3 of one of his lectures downloaded from [...] almost every lunchtime business day.Dr. Kreeft has a lot of fun writing this book. I enjoyed reading it. It is not a philosophy book. For that read Philosophy of Jesus or The Sea Within. However, if you surf, love the ocean, know God, you will enjoy this book.As a Californian and as a Standup surfer there are issues between me and Dr. Kreeft that I am sure will be ironed out through God's grace at our Purgatory.

As someone who surfs every morning, this book put words to deep deep feelings I’ve had for a long long time.

Bought this book as a gift for my surfer brother. He loved the book all except for the extreme religious views occasionally

Both surfers to whom I gave the book were happy to have a book on the sport they love. They live in southern California near a beach.

Excellent book and very funny and told from the point of view of one who has lived with the waves for a long time

This book rocks...it confirms what I already know about surfing: a totally fun, radical and green way to enlightenment!

This book is terrible, and I want my money back. This back hardly references the philosophy it say it will in the intro. If you want to read a crappy choppy book that has no value then purchase this book, but if not look else where.
