Great help with the grapes

Sure - its a tiny pamphlet, only 31 pages, actually from 1980, black and white, drawings only, no pretty pitures, no author droning on about their own story.LOADED WITH RAW DATA!If this was done by a different author today it would be 131 pages........100 of them useless.I am going to look at the other pamphlets in this series and pick up some more.

It's got some useful information but nothing you can't find on the net.Overall helpful to a novice like me but a little out of date on the varietiespopular here and now. Probably worth the modest price, though.

Easy to read... informative... great for learning how to grow grapes... planting, training, pruning, and harvesting them... a good buy

Sometimes gardening books are hard for me to consider good when they just don't work for me, primarily because I live in the desert. Overall, this book gives good information on grapes. It might lack information a this topic though. I like these little booklets and have purchased quite a few of them. Why? Because for the most part, they provide me with new information that I can try and evaluate myself to see if they work for me or not. I recommend you give this book (pamphlet) a try, especially for the price.

These little booklets have more knowledge packed into them than you would imagine. Great Grapes is just another example. You don't always need a book to tell you how to. Sometimes a friendly little booklet can show you everything you need to know without wading through pages and pages of back story and qualifications. Well with all the wisdom and knowhow in these booklets, you don't need to worry about the author being qualified.

Great advise and how to. A simple to the point read. I made the arbor recommended and pruned my grapes with fine results using this booklet.

Just a great little book, kind of like a summary with the salient points, on grape growing. Very good narrative and drawings.
