Master the Civil Service Exams

Follow-up on my review because I just learned I passed my Civil Service Test. I practiced with this book nearly everday leading up to the test so I am pleased with the result. This book is filled with helpful information and practice tests. It is a much thicker and larger paperback than I was expecting, so it's not easy to take with you, but it's helpful. I like that there are answers at the end of the sections so you can check your work. This printing is 2019 so it may be just a little outdated. I've been pairing it with some recent videos and online resources. Give it a try!

I take the test tomorrow so I cannot attest to this book for sure helping me, but it definitely helped me identify which portions of the test I needed to practice and focus on (I knew it was math, but the diagnostic test helped me hone in on what particular math problems were causing, well, a problem for me). That alone makes me give this book 4 stars because I have taken one civil service test and barely passed, another that I completely bombed, and hopefully the test I take tomorrow I will pass with flying colors because of this book.

A coworker and I feel that the answer for #15 in my photo should be 'A' based on the explanation provided in the book. 'Sixth' is before 'Sixty' Third alphabetically. So with that said the answer key may be incorrect for many questions.

Definitely not the book I needed to study. Would return if I could. Now it’s just collecting dust.

Has definitely boosted my scores. I love the explanation of the answers. Specific and to the point.

This study guide offered great refresher skill testing to prepare you for civil service exams and well worth the purchase.Purchased the hard copy version as some reviews mentioned not fully complete with digital.

Very thankful I got this book! I haven’t taken the testing yet but this book is very detailed!
