Orbit 58237N Hose Spray Nozzle, neutral

Great nozzle, it's brass and should be sturdy. Tired of plastic ones that break/screw up in a few months.Would buy again.

We bought several of these for our community garden. They work very well and will probably last forever, at least as long as the garden does. We got so tired of plastic nozzels that last one season, if that.

My mom kept running over hose ends and flattening them so I bought her this. Now I have to worry about her tires though.

It's pretty in the package, but the product falls apart if you actually use it. The barrel fell off of both versions I bought within days of each other. Even though it is made of brass, the parts won't go back together because the O-ring design is so bad and the metal is of such poor quality that some of the threads actually break. It's a good thing it has a 7-year guarantee--but it's a bad thing that customer support won't answer emails or phone calls. The support is as bad as the product, and the guarantee is as worthless as the broken pieces. A quick check of customer reviews would have warned me that this is a product to avoid because so many customers have had terrible experience with these nozzles as well as with Orbit as a company. It was my mistake to judge it by its looks and claims of "durability" from an advertising agency that probably never used one. This is one product--and company--customers should avoid.

I've had the same very bad experience as others. This spring, after one season of use, the nozzle can not be adjusted because the barrel has become very difficult for me to turn and impossible to turn for my wife.I'm unsure whether corrosion or some garden dirt or plant matter is causing the problem, but I can not find a way dismantle the nozzle without destroying it because the parts appear to be press fit or .I'll replace it with a brass nozzle like these which are two pieces that can be easily separated for cleaning and repair. http://www.amazon.com/Dramm-12380-Heavy-Duty-Adjustable-Nozzle/dp/B001DGII5O/ref=cm_rdp_product

After 6 months of use, the product started leaking from the area where the black grip is located. Will try to find warranty info and return for replacement. Expected much better. Really worried because I bought three of them.The company sent a replacement for the defective one.Since that time all three are now not working. You cannot turn the adjustable grip to open and close nozzle. Customer service needs serious attention from management. An e-mail submitted through their website to support has gone unanswered after 6 days - the website says it takes them from 2-4 days to reply. Ridiculous! They should be replying within 24 hours to email support issues.Finally called - 20 minute wait to get a human on the line. The one redeeming experience was they replaced the three defective units. These products are warrantied for 6 years - seems an issue if they are breaking down after one or two years. Perhaps the fact that it is Made in China is part of the QC issue. I have some older units (more than 10 years old that are still working fine), but I don't know if they were Made in USA then.

I agree with 'Old Geezer'. At first it seems heavy and well made but after about a year, the adjustable piece did not turn. I forced it and it broke. There was corrosion inside which should not occur if this was made from solid brass. I bought it from Home Depot. zero stars

This nozzle has a lot of power and covers a great distance. Good if you have a shorter hose.
