My maltipoo gets so hot outdoor playing & this is the only cooling pad ever that I have purchased that is truly a quality item . The inner ice sheet is great because it can be removed and re-frozen. You can also purchase additional ice sheets. It's nice that the top is very durable and stain resistant. The inner liners are thick so that condensation doesn't leak on the outside.

My pomsky hogs the ac vents in the summer, so I gave this a try. It definitely cools but he's not especially fond of the vinyl cover. Fabric or something plush would defeat the purpose, and I didn't see a better (any) alternative. Just have room in the freezer.

I got this for my Pom 2 years ago and it’s still holding up great. He loves it in the summer. The materials are of good quality and it’s easy to clean. I purchased a second freezer insert so I can rotate them from cooling mat to freezer to keep it cool throughout the day.

My dog has Cushing's which is syndrome that affects the adrenal glands. As a result and one symptom is that she gets hot and searches out cool floors. She seema to be getting stiff from always laying on the hard wood floors or tile. I bought a standard cool pad but it wasn't enough so I saw this and tried. Although she still seems to favor the floor, we're moving closer to acceptance. It's still new to her so I may add more comments later but so far so good. She seems quite comfort and lays on it longer each time. There's an owner learning cycle here too so as I more fully understand how this works for her I'm more appreciative of the pad. I just ordered and extra ice insert which will help me ensure the cool spot for her. It fits into a standard sized bed which I also appreciate because it allows it to look like part of the decor in the living room. Great instructings, easy and quick to assemble and great quality. She doesn't chew so no issue but the pad exterior seems really heavy duty. So far this cool pad seems like a breakthrough for her. It should help with inflammation and provide a safe, supportive, comfortable and cool spot to relax and nap. She's a 23 pound of Japanese Chin/Jack Russell mix and is 13 years young with plenty of energy so as she moves into her senior years I hope to make them as pain free and enjoyable as possible.

My dogs absolutely love this thing. My older Golden is perpetually hot unless he's in the snow or water. Since I first put the mat down he has not moved off unless he wants a drink or to go outside. It took a little longer, but even the little dog is on on the action now.The freezer sheets tend to stick together coming out of the freezer, but otherwise a fantastiskt product

I have an older lab and this has made a difference. I have tried two other less expensive products, but they did not provide my dog much relief at all from the heat. This one works, well. My dog is 64 lbs and the two-pack is perfect for him.

I figured for the price it would come with the ice cube layer but mine didn’t. Other than that it’s a great idea I know my dogs will love it.

The mat fits nicely in an upright freezer; might have to roll it up if you’re using a refrigerator/freezer unit. Nice size for mid to large sized dogs. Pad is comfortable for our elderly dog on hot summer nights.
