No real new original ideas

This book is full of amazing card ideas....and I always love new ideas. I don't always follow directions exactly, I use them for inspiration usually. This book teaches a lot of techniques, gives simple directions, and provides patterns in the back that are useful. I would recommend this for any beginner or intermediate cardmaker....or anyone that just needs some new ideas. It is definitely worth adding to your collection...or starting your collection :)

This book would be EXCELLENT for beginners, and intermediate card makers. It is a great book to refer to for refreshers, especially for techniques that you don't use often or have only dabbled in.

I bought this as a gift for my mom, as she kept renewing the copy from our local library. I was happy to find it for her, and at a very reasonable cost. If you or a loved one has a card-making hobby, or addiction, I recommend this book to help improve their craft.

Never dreamed I would enjoy a instruction book this much. It gave me a lot of new ideas to make cards.

This has lots of ideas in for card making and is well written and interesting. I use this a lot.

Fun cardmaking book

Nice book. Lots of details. Some cards seem complex while others are simple and quick. I use it for ideas because I like to mix and match embellishments on cards.

This might suit a beginner - even then, it is not that inspiring. As a gift for any experienced card maker, it is no good. Not recommended, especially at this price.

I ordered this book after taking an interest in card making. I was a complete beginner and knew very little about the craft. (I have been referring to the book and attending classes).This book is a really useful guide with a number of inspirational ideas. It covers many of the techniques used by crafters and gives useful hints and tips.It also covers the tools and places you can purchase them.The layout covers cards for different occasions, each design explains which techniques are required. There is also a section in the back to give more details of each method.

an excellent reference book to have for all card makers regardless of ability. This book has plenty of hints and tips to help when needing to think of a design to make for family birthdays etc. it has lots of great illustrations to work from which you can also adapt to suit.

I bought this book new, I didn't use it for about 6 months due to being busy, but when I went to use it there's about 20 pages missing (ripped out) including some which when I looked at the index I wanted to use yet due to time elapsed I can't exchange refund or anything very poor especially for a new book!

a nice book however i wouldn't have paid full price for it as it is in my opinion a bit outdated
