Fixed my 2009 Silverado 1500
Original left rear top stock mount rusted out. Replaced with this one and worked well.1) Best to remove the truck bed (only 2 electrical connection, 3 gas neck screws and 6 bed bolts)2) Cut and grind out the rusted one3) Align new bracket with shock installed (use a racket strap to compress shock to correct size)4) Tack weld, remove shock, finish weld, Paint(optional)5) Reassemble.Completion Time: 3 Hours

Minor work to fit, overall good
Replacing the rear shocks on my 2001 Silverado, discovered the shock mount on the driver side was destroyed as I removed the factory shock. This piece fit with some minor massaging. Welded it in and it's solid. 4/5 stars because it did take some massaging and persuasion with a hammer to sit 100%.

I know it only 29$ but damn guy! Take a extra 5 minute to bend it properly.

Ok but lousy manufacturing technique
Quality not what I expected. Came a little bent but box was fine. Strange but holes were not drilled. They were cut with a plasma or something by someone that does not have a steady hand. In other words holes not very round. I know it's under the truck but would have expected better quality from made in USA and for something that cost $40. Also don't let pic fool you. Comes plain steel and rough cut holes
