Poor design.. Blade doesn’t feel sturdy .. blade pulls back too many time..I work at Target and this cutter is not usable

Durability is questionable
After a few months of heavy use the auto retract will pull the blade back in immediately after I squeeze the lever if I squeeze it quickly. It works fine if I go slow. But if I can't go fast with it it's useless to me

Not very safe, unusable
Near worthless. At longest length, blade will not cut through any heavy duty cardboard. Blade retracts far too often. Someone 'borrowed' my work blade, so I had to get a new one. Literally have to make 20-50 attempts to get the blade out without it automatically retracting. Not so safe either. After 14 years of using standard old school safety box cutters, I knicked myself once. Within weeks of the easy cut 4000, (I didn't CUT myself, safety for the win!) I scratched myself enough to rival the cut I got from an older 'less safe' knofe design... this is not a high quality, high safety product. Although, I suppose the fact that my new one doesn't work at all means I probably will never cut myself with it. Maybe it is safe after all!

Not that great
Needed an industrial box cutter.Not too happy with it. Thought if I bought the top of the line one it would be better; not so. Probably should have returned it but decided to keep as spare. Really for light to medium use IMOo.

Useless POS
I work at Lowe’s and we use these cutters as they are mandated. They are OBNOXIOUS. The “tape splitter” on the back is practically useless. It forces you to use the front blade that quickly jams up in less then an hour with standard use and the auto retract won’t let the blade come out unless you squeeze the handle a dozen times. These are useless PERIOD! They are so bad I often take the blade out and open the boxes holding the blade in my hand! They are that BAD! I genuinely hope the company that makes these gets sued for making such a deliberately terrible product!
