Galco M5X Matrix for Ceska Zbrojovka CZ P-01 (Black, Right-Hand)

The holster I received didn't have a very firm grip on the gun while it was holstered. It would rattle around and slide up and down as I walked. Not only was the rattle annoying, I discovered later that evening it put excessive wear on my P-01 for one day worth of holstering. The holster is now in the garbage can and I have a custom kydex holster on order.The holster did retain the gun however, and "click" in. But it didn't click into a firm position, it clicked in to a very room position that the gun could rattle around in and slide up and down about a 1/4". I tried the tension screws but they just made it harder to draw the gun.

I have a CZ Pro tek 2 Which is a modified P-01 and this holster does not fit it for one reason the Front sight is too high and gets stuck when holstering and drawing the Weapon. The standard front sight for the Pro tek is 6.5 mm anything less it works - yes I changed it to try.This Review is to help people who think the pro-tek will work with this Holster. So if you have a P01 the standard sight post is 5.5mm and I give this holster a 5/5 if It is for the Protek I give it a 3/5 only because your can file enough material to make it work for a higher front sight.

I only gave this holster 3 stars because it comes with a permanent forward cant that allows for no adjustment. I personally do not like a forward canted holster. I like to draw straight up and then forward. This holster is awkward to draw from. In all fairness to Galco, they make a good quality holster. I just don't like the forward cant on this one.

I bought the correct holster yet it did not properly fit the intended gun model (CZ P01). I had to remove/shave/grind a fair amount of holster plastic to relieve space for the rail and muzzle of the gun. Even so, the fit is mediocre and the plastic is of a softer type than used by many holster manufacturers (like Bladetech). I was disappointed with this product.

I thought this would work, until I worked with it a bit.The plastic has an awful feel. The gun will fit, but it doesn't click in. It's kind of like sticking a gun into a bunch of plastic wrap.It is a holster that will drive me crazy every time I draw to practice or compete.Save up a bit longer and get a better holster, I wish I had a recommendation.

Not the most concealable holster as it sticks out quite a bit. Need to wear something very long and bulky to cover it up. Even hard to conceal holster without the pistol. Pistol fits is loose once seated.

Fit the CZ P-06 perfect after I adjusted the tension screw. Good quality material and fast shipping! Good overall experience.

This holster is great. There is a nice solid "click" when the firearm is holstered. It is held with just the right amount resistance. Very easy to draw from. The draw resistance is also adjustable by two screws. I would buy this again for the P-01.
