I don't know if typewriter ribbons have a shelf life or not. The black material on the ribbon will not transfer to the paper.I tried winding a few inches of the ribbon to maybe get past a dryed out section, but is still unusable. I don't think it has anything to do with the seller. It was packaged in a bubble pack and appeared to be new? Contacted seller, and was sent a new ribbon (No charge). Very nice people to do busines with. Will be ordering from them again.

can be hard to find. When the last ribbon I had ran out, I figured I'd have to toss the machine. I was very glad to find these available through Amazon. I don't use the typewriter often but it does still have its uses!

These ribbons worked like a charm on my old Olympia typewriter. It was much easier to shop online than at an office store. Showing a picture of the product made the match pretty easy.

The Ribbon did not solve my typewriter problem. I returned the ribbon to the seller.
