Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends Wood, Candy Cars

Wasn’t expecting so much since these are wood toys. However, I was super impressed with the paint job and the overall quality of this toy. Perfect gift for the little boy I babysit!

Bought two sets of these overpriced little trains. We are well acquainted with the Thomas trains from years past (they were overpriced then too) but have not bought any in years. Came looking for a gift for two train loving little boys and stumbled across these little candy trains while just searching to see what was available. I bought them because of reviews that said the caramel on the one train feels like candy. When they arrived the caramel does not feel anything like candy, it isn't rubbery at all in texture. It is more of a slick plastic with a very, very slight give to it. Despite that, the trains are adorable and easily depict the magic of childhood. The caramel train has a face that is licking it's lips as though it wants to eat the candy, or has just enjoyed some. The gumdrop car leaves a bit to be desired. The candies in it don't really look much like candy but to a child's mind they do the trick. Little lollipops or wrapped candy pieces would have been better but all in all these are adorable and I would gladly buy them again should we ever need another train set.

Great trains

These are super cute and unique little train cars. The caramel one has the best texture. It’s smooth and rubbery but not tacky at all. And the candy one rattles a bit as it goes down the track. My toddlers love them - great for their Easter baskets!

My little guy loves anything Thomas but has never seen the candy train. He was so excited to receive it in his valentines gift.

Our son loves them. These are great wooden trains. We purchased these to add to his other Thomas & Friends trains, which replaced the cheaper ones that came in a set he got for Christmas.

The gumdrop car is cute, the caramel car is a little odd looking, like they made a mistake and went with it anyway.

Super cute - although my husband wasn't gunning for these to add to our son's Thomas collection - I was all about those fun candy colours. They do not disappoint and are a great addition to the set.

Not sure about the candy theme for kids toys, but couldn’t find other cars so I got them anyways. It is for Christmas, so if there’s anything wrong, will let you know. Otherwise, it looks great, and sturdy. Thank you.

Grandson loves these Thomas and Friends wooden trains. They are durable and I highly recommend them.
