Does what it suppose to do, well
First, I am not using any of the more advanced features yet. I have a drain on the battery in a vehicle that I don't drive very much. After a few days, the battery voltage would be to low to start (around 11 volts). This solved it in the background, without any issues or hassle. I have it set at 12v cut-out and several times I have found the battery at 11.9v and holding (startable). Just exactly what I needed. Have not had a no start situation since installing it several weeks ago. My digital voltage readout shows it cuts off right at the setting and the battery seems to hold that voltage from then on, allowing a start where otherwise I would need a boost. I have the larger unit and did not connect it to the starter. It is all solid state, so operates without noise in the background. If I didn't have the digital voltage monitor, it might seem like magic (lol).

Pleased, as expected from this brand. Improvements possible.
Using Bluetooth the settings are very fine and ultatuneable. You can disable Bluetooth and there are some presets you can use. You might decide to disable Bluetooth for power savings of disabiling the radio. Great product for it's purpose. How to improve: Make Bluetooth mandatory. Have a sliding switch to turn Bluetooth on or off as you then can forget about the manual segment interface. No reason not to require Bluetooth. Having a simple switch let's you turn it off when you don't need it or leave it on as you wish. Much easier.Additionally I don't understand why they don't have a complementary max voltage shutoff. I imagine there may be some edge cases where people might find that usefull and it's easily implementable in firmware in the existing hardware.

Great Bluetooth switch!
Works as expected. Bluetooth is great, but only work in close distance. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Doesn't work
It doesn't turn off even after pulling the remote. It's frozen closed all the time which means it never turns off anything and doesn't protect the battery. I have already started a return.

Absolutely Love it!
Not its original intention for use, however we tried one out on a new police car outfit to protect the battery from dying as well as being able to remotely shut off the equipment while servicing. So far so good, it's holding up just fine. Doesn't overheat, programming is not difficult if you read the entirety of the instructions, and is very cost effective when compared to other LVD or relay products on the market. No, it is not bi-directional, if that's what you need then use a relay with it. I also like how you can either positive or negative switch the activate. Even though our total amp draw is 85A peak, we went with the 220A version. Always wire for 84% or better!!

Works as great!
Works great! Make sure to test it out so you don’t make any wrong assumptions. Using it for lithium solar battery bank. Get the smart version! Super easy to program and also gives you a cutoff switch on your phone

NOT FOR INVERTERS
I have to say that I am generally a huge fan of Victron products and their customer support is top notch. However, this product is kind of a let down for me. I dont know why they designed it so that it cant handle any reverse current. You cant use it with a decent sized inverter because they CAN create a small amount of reverse current (and a surge upon initial connection) and hooking it up to an inverter will void your warranty. Its also very easy to destroy this unit with user error such as reversing the in and out terminals or hooking up a solar charge controller to the out terminal.I decided to sell it and use a BMS to control a solid state DC contactor instead. If you dont have the cash to spend on one of those, or you dont want to deal with heat management, you can use a solenoid instead but keep in mind they draw up to an amp of power during usage.

Battery Protect not protecting my battery bank.
Sometimes reads the wrong voltage on the output and causes the inverter to sound Low Voltage Alarms or shutdown completely. So right now I’m only using it to monitor battery voltage via Bluetooth. But the Relay function doesn’t work. Therefore, I can’t use it to control power draws from my battery bank. Yeah... Battery Protect not protecting my battery bank.
