I had to treat my cichlids with antibiotics and GarlicGuard really helped to make medicated food palatable to my fish. The fish gobbles medicated food immediately, once it in the tank. Good product. Will buy again in the future.

Very healthy for my fishes

I had a small outbreak in one of my aquariums and had to quickly act since I did not have a quarantine setup for them. I used a series of Seachem products (Metroplex and Focus being the two others) that included this GarlicGuard.I ended up getting this after trying to mix the other two ingredients with food. It worked well as Focus is a great formula itself to bond the Metroplex to the food. However, the fish let a lot of it sink to the bottom, so I could only hope that the medicine escaped back into the water.At that point I decided it would be important to mix GarlicGuard into the food and medicine. I was happy I was able to find this smaller bottle at a great value on Amazon. I am further grateful that it worked out very well for mixing. I have even used it without the medicine on food and the fish react even more favorably than they do with their "favorite plain" fish food.This is a great additive, for sure. I am glad it is available as it is very important for certain diseases to be treated internally with the fish ingesting the medication. I appreciate the great products that Seachem provides. This is one of the more essential ones in my opinion.

Does exactly what it is for. My puffer fish weren't eating the bloody warms and once I added a few drops of this garlic guard, they devoured the worms!

My Axolotl used to be a very picky eater, but now she eats a lot more, and is healthier because of it! I will only say it stinks pretty bad. Use outside or around the cat litter to help with the smell.

Really adds excitement for the fish at feeding time. It is much too early using the product to say how effective it is. However, if I talk about how the fish accept it, it is more like they love it.

they go bananas over garlic , also my time keeping salt it helps with immune issues and i believe that ich dont like this whatsoever in fresh or salt. there is a science somewhere to this, and if it sounds bunk, the fish will kill for it.BTW you can make this yourself an even more potent version, and it still works even better. AS you control the amt and the garlic presses needed. THey also eat the chunks. NOT THE ENTIRE CLOVE THROWN IN OK! smash it up and keep the juice extract and carrots . cucumbers , watermelon, yes they eat them too.

I got this for Discus fish that were being picky about eating certain food. Not only that, I wanted to introduce more food, higher protein and this is perfect for all of that. Some fish will take time to get around, this doesn't work right away but as you continue to use it, you'll see better results with each use!

My fishes love the garlic mixed with there flakes

O cheiro é bem interessante. Parece um arisco ou tempero à base de alho. Segui uma sugestão que vi na internet que é de não tirar o lacre do pote e fazer apenas um furinho nele. Aí é bem tranquilo.Os peixes ficam bem animados para vir comer. Eu estava com dois discus novos no aquário que não estavam querendo comer direito. Depois eles ficaram bem interessados na ração.
