Extreme Max 5001.5781 Powder-Coated Steel Trailer Step - 5" x 9"

Almost a must for me.Im 73 and I don't hop in and out of a boat like I used to.This is a great sturdy step .Simple to mount and really a great addition to your boat trailer .And if your a bigger guy ,don't worry it's welded steel it will hold you.

I've owned boats for years, and I've always contorted myself and struggled to climb in and out when the boat was on the trailer. You either run the risk of damaging the fender by putting your weight on it or stretch and twist to hit the trailer. With my new boat, I decided I was too old for yoga poses, so I took a chance on this. I wish I had bought one years ago.The step mounts easily onto the trailer with just four carriage bolts. I did have to run to the hardware store to buy some shorter bolts because the ones that came with it were way too large for my trailer. But that was the only negative I have, and I'm guessing that's partially my fault because there's probably one for smaller trailers floating around out there that I just didn't look for.I'm a fairly big guy, and the step is solid. It sits at just the right height for an easy step from the ground and into the boat, and it doesn't stick out any further than the fender does.If you've got a boat, you won't regret adding one of these.

Mounted this to the winch on my boat trailer to ease getting in and out of the boat at the ramp. Had to change out a few bolts but it works great. I also added the standup trailer tire mount to the trailer frame rail and some non-skid tape to the trailer frame. I can now step from the trailer frame, onto the tire, onto this step, and up onto the boat safely.

strong step but plan on another $10 for better mounting hardware thats why only 4 stars edit; liked it enough to buy another one for the other side of the trailer, step sticks out even with the fender perfect!

Easy to install. Makes getting in boat easier when on the trailer.

Our pallet forks aren't the walk through type with a passage in the middle. I bolted this on the frame of the forks and it makes it so much easier to get in to the skid steer.

Worked out great on my boat trailer it should make it easy to get in. I bought two and bolted two steps together on either side of the tongue and then used the two backing plates to make a third flat step up towards the hitch. I do recommend

the galvanized step was perfect for my situation - before I was trying to step on top of the winch which wasn't very safe - being it's galvanized is even better as my trailer is also - we I mounted it I didn't have use the the backer plate
