This bag is perfect for an 11 year old starting high school!! It's mature, spacious and has lots of storage space; good for putting all your school supplies/books etc.

I'd say quite sturdy. My girls have had theirs for 1y and 3y, used everyday for school, and still going strong. They carry lots of books!
