Madden NFL 09 - Playstation 3

I had been giving my husband a very hard time about him selling off his edition of this video game. I am a die hard Brett favre fan! He bought me this video game strictly for the Brett favre cover. He has played madden for several years and it's one of his favorite games. He has played this edition many times in the past before they came out with all of the new ones. We buy this video game every year and it is the most played video game. He likes all of the updated players. If I ever do get around to playing a video game, I will happily play as Brett favre. That may be the only way he gets me to play with him :)!

My grandson wanted the Madden NFL for his birth year. On Christmas, they brought over the PS3 and he was able to play it immediately. It was fun seeing the players and teams from 8 years ago.

Recently, a few friends of mine were looking to play Madden together. We aren't huge madden fans, but wanted to play on a PS3. Instead of buying a new game ($60), we went the used game route ($4) and are we ever satisfied. If you are willing to go back a year or two to a previous Madden, it is worth the savings. We still have a lot of fun with this game, it is PS3, so the graphics are excellent. If your not a huge Madden fan, do yourself a favor and go back a year.There really is added enjoyment to this game when you only pay 4 dollars for it.

I've bought madden since they first came around back in the early 90s. Recent years, I commited to only buying a copy if my team wins the superbowl... and what do ya know... BOOM! Grats Steelers. Previous to that I've been playing Madden 2006 on the Wii.From 2006 to 2009, I expected better graphics, and selection menus. This game is only a year old, and I feel that they could have gone a lot further in polishing up what they already had from the previous year. The reason I still give it a good rating is that it is still fun to play, and has that good fun factor of beating up your friends and their teams when they come over. However; if you're expecting much more from the previous year, you might want to just commit to 2010 or beyond.
