7Penn Shower Niche 28 x 16 Inch Single Shelf Shower Insert Shower Shelves for Tile Walls – Wall Niche Shower Box

I am a DIY and local tile store is selling item more expensive than Amazon price. Product seems to be well built (I have not installed the tile at this time of review). if you install this in horizontal, 16" Interior dimension will not support Costco size "Pantene 38 oz pump bottle sold in Costco". I know its not intended to be installed this way so no stars deducted and description product was clear.

Was re-doing my shower and this was perfect size wanted a nice big cubby with a river rock back . Was very easy to work with and a value

While we haven't tiled it, yet, this niche was so easy. We framed out behind, made sure everything was level (and the sloped part of the niche was at the bottom!!!) and then attached it to the cement board. We used Loctite silicone adhesive, screwed it in then taped/mudded with mortar around it then waterproofed. Super simple and easier than building one out of cement board. Would definitely recommend!
