Hunter’s Kloak Rut Rouser Dual Mister

Great idea, but estrous scent they use and sell for a kings ransom sucks. I wanted to compare. I used the small Kloak mister and 10 yards away I used Tinks on a wick. I had 3 different bucks (all 2 1/2 year olds come in and smell the Tinks doe in estrous and 10 yards away the Kloak mister was going. They all came in from down wind and not one went to the mister but all of them went to the Tinks on a wick. I then had 1 doe come in to Tinks and started to go toward mister and stopped in her tracks put her nose in the air and did a 360 and turned around and went other direction. Bottle are lucky to last 3 hrs on lowest setting (15sec). I just ordered 4 new cartridges of the doe in estrous and am going to try to return them. This is a great set up but they need to do some changes. I am guessing the food smells may work, but not sure. I wish I could return it all for a refund. I definitely would. I have the Rutrouser and the small mister. Spent a lot of money on a product that is overly expensive for cartridges that don’t work. I always try to give products a fair chance, but people do not waste your time on their estrous scent cartridges. THEY DO NOT SMELL ANYTHING LIKE DOE IN ESTROUS.. If they would make it so you could put your own scent in a cartridge now that would be a game changer, but they never will because they are making a fortune on their cartridges. I bought 4 at 50% off and still spen 32 bucks with shipping. What a joke. I could have bought a Tinks 2oz bottle that would have lasted the whole season for $19.99 anywhere they sell it. Very very disappointed.

The batteries they send with it are almost useless!! I had to replace them with new ones from the store but after that it worked perfectly !! I could see the green light from my climber and watch it mist. Brought in the deer.

This unit seems to operate decent, some early model scents don’t work well with it, really like the concept of it and a good idea but the cartridges are too unreliable, some work, some don’t at all, seems like the wick is choked and can’t deliver the scent to the ultra sonic head.

Purchased for my husband. He loves it so far. Has been easy to use, conceals easily, and the remote was easy even when in gloves. Storage for travel after use we do recommend it's own bag or container ...unless u like the smell. It does not drip... but the over spray from wind is enough to smell up everything...even ur car. :)

i haven used it in the woods yet but i have tested it to see how it works this thing is totally quite and puts a good amount of sent in the air i like then fact that you can set it on a timer to go off every so often and use the remote for the other sent

The remote I got doesn't work with the battery they sent inside. I ordered more batteries for it. Hopefully it works with new ones.

Perfect for attracting deer. Had two doe come to the same spot using this. We are in a baitless county in Wisconsin. This device tricks deer into thinking bait is out.
