I really like this recliner
I got the recliner today and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the material is. It's a nice cotton suede like fabric. The color is not sage green, it's a light sage green but it's not a big deal to me.It's not the kind of recliner you sink into when you sit in it but it's comfortable, definitely. And like others have said, it is on the smaller side. Not that I was expecting anything huge and I'm not disappointed at all, but if you're a big person, you may be uncomfortable trying to fit into it. I'm petite and I fit in it just fine but I could not see a big guy fitting into it...someone who's kind of big in the middle. There's only about an inch on each side of me then there's the arms and I'm pretty small. It's really comfy when I lay back on it, no matter how far back I go. The top has a little more cushion on it so you really don't need a pillow for your head and the arms of the chair were puffier than I expected and I liked that a lot.The chair is easy to recline and to get back down. I read some people had issues with getting it to go back down. I dont know if they have weak leg muscles or what but I can very easily make the chair close to get up and it stays closed. But then again, I've only had it for about 4 hours now. If it changes, I'll update this review to let you know. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because the seat part of it is a little firmer than I had antisipated but it's not uncomfortably so but I would have enjoyed sinking in to it just a little more. Also, when you get it it comes in two parts. You're supposed to slide the flat rods into the top holders that act as railings to hold it and then it snaps into place. The one rod was bent and I could see it had scratches on it like it was bent before shipping (no way did this happen during shipping) and I could not get it to go into the railing holder thingy. The other side had already snapped into place and I could not undo it so I had a heck of a time trying to make the other side slide in, after I got a hammer and gave a few good whacks to make it straight again. It was doable but it should not have arrived like that. But even with that malfunction, I got it snapped together in under 3 minutes so it's really not a big deal for me but it may be to others.

Somewhat disappointing.
I'm 6' 275 pounds and my wife is no light weight either so I was a little leery of buying this recliner but after reading the good reviews I decided to go ahead and buy 2. The recliners we had, had been purchased used from the Salvation Army Store and were falling apart. When the new ones came the delivery driver left them out in the front yard, because of our small porch on our double wide mobile home. The boxes were pretty tore up to say the least, so I just rolled them up my front steps (carefully, trying not to damage them) and into the house. They were fairly easy to unpackage as the boxes were ripped open in a few places. when i got them out and snapped the backs into place, I was pleased that there was no obvious damage. They did look rather small compared to our old recliners. Sitting in them for the first time I noticed that the recliner latch was different than any I had seen. in the picture it looked like a button but it is actually a release flap that you put pour fingers behind and pull out. It works easily. Once it is released the foot rest pops out and you control the amount of reclining with your leg movements and lean back to recline the rest of the way. Its different but works well. We've had them for about 4 months now and they are still pretty comfortable. I had a problem with one of the latches that caused the leg rest not to close and stay, but I was able to resolve that issue by removing one screw that was hanging the latch return up. I don't care for the material they are made of. It is a hair magnet and we have pets. also we have had a long spell of dry weather and the amount of static electricity that builds in us while sitting in these recliners is crazy. When I get up I take my car key and hold it near our wood stove and throw an arc that looks like a spark plug. The leg rest is hard to latch down. I have to use one foot in front of the other to get it latched, Getting up from this chair is also a chore. It seems to be harder for me than my wife. I'm afraid to put too much pressure on the arm rests when getting up because they flex a little and I don't want to break them. If were careful and don't break these recliners they may last a while.

Good Value but for Low Income
I received this item in fine shape, able to drag the box to my place from where it was left by delivery, not too heavy at all (I was a professional mover). Assembly didn't take too long, only two pieces to fit together. No instructions on how to use the footrest, so I called the manufacturer. They don't have anything online, but said there was the button on the side. Took me some time to figure it out, but being somewhat mechanically inclined, I did it. No lever as on my former recliner. It takes some doing to set the footrest back into place, you apparently have to swing your feet, pushing the footrest hard and to lock into place. Pressing the button to unlock it results in a brusque swing up, somewhat of a jolt. Don't be holding a drink or glass of liquid as you do this.I tend to sit to the side, so maybe now that causes some imbalance, and it seems to stick on that side when I try to lock the footrest down, you need to be centered straight to push the footrest down with your legs and feet. Maybe a future point of failure. I'm keeping the shipping box for a return until after the 30 day or what return window, as some failure seems probable. If I had more money, I'd have gotten something better built or sturdier, but going to the furniture outlets, they mostly all come with such buttons, seldom or none with levers anymore. The feel and material is better than my last recliner, also bargain, and that lasted for 25 years. It's just a little jerky and not as smooth as the operation of my former recliner, but once I am sat, it's fine. It is a bit shaky, not so rock solid, but the highly soft and comfortable arm rests support my trackpad nicely, so I can scroll and surf by my computer to my TV. No pocket for remotes, be nice to have a outlet to charge say a laptop or tablet, but it looks like recliners for several hundred more have that.

The material used to cover chair is no good
At first the chair seemed good but within a few short months it became clear that the chair was not as it could have been. The first major problem to go was the material covering the footrest. It split so the back of my ankles rested on the edge of the raw plywood. Not comfortable. The material on the inside of the arms after 18 months frayed and pilled looking bad and not feeling great on bare skin. The seat is bulged and packed in places leaving it terribly uncomfortable to sit in. The control wire for the footrest broke after two and a half years so the footrest isn't uncomfortable any longer as it can't be used. All in all it is a poorly made, shoddy piece of furniture that I would not recommend to anyone. Also right from the beginning it left an oily black stain on the carpet under the chair. Not sure where that comes from. There were screws or bolts that fell out of it within three months of purchase - three or four at different times. I never did find out where they came from. I would definitely not recommend this chair. I am a widow on fixed income or I would never have kept this chair for this long.

Very Happy with this Purchase!
We bought this chair to go in a Park Model trailer, it's the perfect fit! Recliner is great for someone my height 5'4" or shorter. Bonus, wall hugger recliner, takes up less room. It's a beautiful sage colour. Very good deal for the price. Thinking of ordering another one for my Mother. The only bad experience with our Amazon order was the Purolator Delivery Driver, he was extremely rude, he dumped the chair on the front lawn after he was asked to place it on the deck and he left. He did not ask for signature or leave paper work with the chair as a result my tracking order still shows as "on it's way". Hopefully we will have a better shipping experience in the futureI would recommend this chair

Smaller Person Chair, comfy
Chair made for smaller person, very hard to put foot rest back down. Not good quality but it’s it wasn’t that expensive

We received 2 chairs the same day, ahead of schedule. The sitting area is smaller than usual, and our legs hang over the end. They are light and keep backing up on our wooden floor whenever we recline. A rug floor would hold them still. For the price they work!!

Nap time
Very comfy chair. The back recliner portion doesn't always stay securely in place, but the chair is roomy and relaxing to be in, particularly with the legs extended. A good fit for bodies of all shapes and sizes. I'd highly recommend purchasing a slipcover to keep the fabric in shape, given the number of family members who'll be fighting to sit in it.
