An enjoyable book for both the photos and the writing. Wonderfully inspiring for creative readers. There is an art class within the pages.Rather than a book on regional gardens or a particular style of garden, this book focuses on and delivers the thought processes that go into creating a livable outdoor space that compliments the adjoining indoor space. There are also outdoor spaces that connect to other outdoor spaces using art fundamentals that the author presents as interior design ideas.It is a book I will return to with questions.What am I drawn to in tbe photo?What resonates with me from the words?How can I apply that to my space?

A pictorial delight from cover to cover. Haynes Llewellyn and I have long been fans of Linda Okeeffe’s monographs. Linda’s eye for the visual is only enhanced by her compelling writing. Many Design books are visually appealing yet Linda’s text not only engages her audience, it inspires. A must have for both avid gardeners as well those who seek to create their own individual Garden rooms. This book is an Aplus.

What a find! Page after page of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen. And the author chose all sorts of gardens to photograph, and various designers/architects who share their ideas. A great book to gift to anyone who owns a home, or who is interested in designing one!

The book is as beautiful as it is informative. The essays read like poetry. I loved it.

Beautifully presented and photographed book of very large, very green garden, mainly in American and some in England. This is a great coffee table book to picked up and gain inspiration from for your garden - the gardens are amazing, as are the interiors of some of the houses as they flow into the outdoor space..

Having bought a few of Linda O’Keeffe’s books in the past I was looking forward to receiving her latest offering which arrived yesterday.I was not dissappointed! The standard of photography is exceptional and unlike many so called “coffee table books” there is plenty of intelligent, useful and well written text to accompany each chapter.I’m very impressed with the content, particularly as it has been priced so reasonably - it would make a great Christmas present!!
