No vent.
Picture makes the can look like it has a vent. The one I received has NO VENT. This of course makes it slower to empty. Glug.........Glug ! Also someone had used mine before I received it. It smelled of gasoline when first opened. The lid fit is the best of the 6 gas cans of this type ( but all are 5 gallon VP ) I have used.

Red 3 gallon gas can
Awesome jug. I have couple VP racing jugs love them also. They have the same caps for each. Same hoses for each. My wife wanted a 3 gallon can when I'm not around when she is mowing grass & she runs out in the middle of the yard. Vp doesn't make s red 3 gallon jug.

Sunoco Jug is JUNK - It leaks gas - Major safety and environmental hazard.
I used it for a boat and it leaks gas. Threads are flat on two sides and the gas leak through the section on the neck with missing threads. I cleaned and returned the tank within the specified period for full refunds. AMAZON REFUSED TO PROVIDE A FULL REFUND, BECAUSE PRODUCT WAS DEFECTIVE. This is wrong on so many levels. I reported this problem to my credit card company and they indicated Amazon cheating the customers out of valid refunds is a new trend. Amazon dominates and maybe the next way to improve margins is to steal from customers?
