Great concept, poor quality
Ok...I received this item, amazing concept. Value for money - NO. For the price $104 for a 72 pairs of shoes storage. The quality should have been much better.First, I YouTube the instructions, it was not difficult to assemble but tedious, the doors at the bottom didn't close properly and 1 got torn in the process. It is sturdy somewhat, got to move it with care. However, as I stated the concept and design is great. I really love having my shoes organized. Need to work on the quality.

A great organizer and space saver
Bought several Takes practice. Directions don't specify the precise position of some of the pieces. Had to re-assemble several times until we were able to make the product sturdy enough to store several shoes. The discs that attach the side walls together must be positioned perfectly or the walls will come apart. Now that they are properly assembled, they work great!

Good height in each unit, fits boots and shoes
I like the unit, it's practical and not ugly, my husband disliked the install, and it falls apart if moved too much or too quickly. We changed our minds and emptied it (twice) before moving to another corner, and pretty much had to start again, but it's quite easy to reassemble. The units are a good size, one can fit both calf-knee height boots, ankle boots, shoes, flip flops, everything! Very good value

Could have been awesome, but...THE SMELL
Could have been awesome, but...THE SMELLI was hoping to say great things about this, but there is one overwhelming feature that negates any of those things: THE SMELL.In case you have no sense of smell, let me tell you the pros anyway: - I was not missing any pieces, there is a paper that came with it that said how many of each piece you should have depending on which size you purchased, so I was able to count and make sure before I even got started. - It seemed fairly sturdy, there were a couple pieces with minor defects, but most of it seemed decent quality and looked nice. - Assembly was not terribly difficult, I could have done it myself, but it went faster with a helper, especially once we got a rhythm going. - It's lightweight, easily moved around into position when empty. - It looked really nice put together. - And I felt the price was alright for the amount of storage compared to buying heavy wood shelves...but...see the cons.Notes that are not pros or cons: The description on Amazon currently shows a different piece that supports the optional intermediate shelves than what actually came, but it worked fine. A couple of my pics show those pieces.Okay, let's start with the smaller cons and work our way up. - The plastic "toy" hammer that came with it is utterly useless. The pieces are better "pushed" or "whacked" into place with your hands pushing together rather than tapping it with a dinky hammer. - They really need to include something to keep the pieces together better, as every time you popped one piece into place, another would pop out. So I can see how people have problems with these things falling apart once they are loaded up. We ended up zip tying almost every single connection, using over 100 4" zip ties, just to be on the safe side. Because of this added step, it took us about 2-3 hours to assemble it, but it felt pretty dang sturdy after that. A couple of my pics show where we added zip ties. So, the reason I purchased this was to store my huge yarn stash in. The spacing of the shelves and the optional intermediate shelves are great (I left some out so I could put little drawers inside, first pic is the shelves assembled but minus the doors because I wanted the smell to go away first). But there is no way I'm putting my nice expensive yarn in this thing. At this point, it's been airing out with a fan, by an open window, for over a week, and still absolutely REEKS of very strong cigarettes/chemicals. It actually makes my eyes hurt, and I suffered through assembly just hoping it needed to be aired out a little. There's no way I'm disassembling this, packing it up, and paying a ton of money to send it back. So, it's just a bad purchase. I can't use it, and I'm very upset about it, because it had so much potential. It is hard to describe just how overpowering and terrible the smell is. I'm surprised that plastic can hold onto a smell like that. I've sprayed it with everything, lysol, febreze, ozium...nothing is helping. It had to have come from the manufacturing plant, it is just so deeply embedded in the material. I don't know if the workers chain-smoke around the product, or if it's a chemical/machine smell that just strongly resembles cigarettes. Either way, I don't smoke, I can't stand the smell, and don't want my yarn to smell like that, so I'm afraid it will be off to the junkyard with this. I'll give it another couple weeks by the window to see if the smell dies down at all, but it's not looking good. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Great shoe storage system
I was skeptical that this would do the trick, but I'm glad I gave it a try. I have a lot of shoes and this storage solution worked perfect for my purposes. It's narrow so it could fit along the entrance wall of my closet. It was tricky to understand how to put together, but I found a couple of videos that cleared up the details and once I got started it went really quick. I used the stabilizer clips everywhere and it holds the whole unit securely. I've moved it several times without it coming apart and I like the fact that the shoes are protected from dust. It did come with a few missing parts which were quickly sent by the manufacturer. It would have been nice to have gotten a parts list with quantities so I could determine if I were missing anything prior to starting the building process. But as I said, the missing parts were sent immediately with no questions asked.
