Perfect board book for teaching body parts! 👏🏼
I forgot that we pre-ordered this “Baby”board book a year ago! I ordered it when my son was about 8 months old, because he was a HUGE fan of the “Everything is Mama” book by Jimmy Fallon. We also have Dada, but Mama is the book he always asks for. I love Jimmy’s Fallon’s simplistic approach to these stories, and the illustrations have my son rolling in laughter! I wasn’t sure what to expect with “Baby” ... was it about expecting a baby sister or brother? I’m “one and done,” so I was hoping that wasn’t the case. This exceeded my expectations. It’s the PERFECT book for his age right now! He’s 19 months, and we’ve been working on body parts lately. He’s starting to point out his head, tummy, and hands. This story is a little more advanced & a slightly longer read compared to the Mama & Dada books (which simply have objects, animals, and a few words). It goes through all of baby’s main body parts, using multicultural depictions of babies. That’s so great! Since we’re stuck at home thanks to COVID, we don’t get out much OR get the opportunity to see people of other races very often. 🙌🏼 This will help!I love the flow of the story, and the rhymes are fun to say out loud. My son has been giggling so hard when we get to the tummy & tickling pages! He sees some common objects throughout also, and points to them and blurts them out.BEST PART?? They didn’t leave out the little ducky that says “QUACK!” That’s usually the part of Mama that has my son giggling uncontrollably. Ducky is still a part of this story.... don’t skip the last page!I highly recommend all 3 of Jimmy Fallon’s board books for babies and toddlers. They make fantastic baby shower, birthday, and holiday gifts. 💝UPDATE: He’s 21 months now, and thanks to this book he can point out EVERY body part in here! 🥰Thanks for reading! I hope this was helpful! 😉

Favorite Book
My little one loves when I point out everything to say what it is. Have to read it everyday.

Our kids LOVE this book!
They’re a little rough on books, so this is the 3rd copy we’ve bought (we’re giving a used book a 2nd life). It’s a fun read that your kids will love, even on the 75th reading

My kids love this book as much as the first two books in this series
My kids are obsessed with this series. It all started with the Dada book. The dada book was the first book my first 2 kids started reading back to me. They have loved to follow each book since. The baby book is cute because it teaches kids about different body parts by using adorable rhymes.

Love it
My almost 2 year old loves this book! We also have the dada book and mama book. Jimmy's books are definitely her favorite. Highly recommend. Even my daughters father said the story is cute... he never thinks anything is cute and hates reading, so that proves this book is great

Total hit
I bought this book for a friend's baby shower and it was a total hit. No one knew Jimmy Fallon had a baby book so it was a great conversation starter. I skimmed the book before wrapping it and it seems to be very cute.

Cute, but not quite "Mama" and "Dada" level
We've had the "Dada" book since my son was born and it was a huge hit from early on. When "Mama" come out, I got it for my wife, and it was just as good. This is a cute book for sure, but is a little higher level than the first 2. We enjoy it, but it probably wouldn't be a book I'd be excited to give a friend who is expecting or something like that.

Had high hopes, but this was insulting
Given what you may know of Jimmy Fallon, you would expect these to be more than just a bunch of cute images. However, that's all these books are.If you want a novelty and to simply buy the book because of the "Author", then go ahead. The series fine to have on a shelf. The images really are cute and the books are well structured. The content, on the other hand, is terribly basic and not anything I'd be reading to our baby.

This really is baby
This book definitely shows all the parts of baby. Much like Jimmy Fallon’s “Dada” book, my baby is obsessed. Is it the illustrations? Is it the edge of your seat excitement of what could possibly be on the next page? Is it the character development? It’s hard to say. I will return with an update when my baby starts talking.. but for now.. we will giggle and chew on the pages.
