Quickest Failure Ever NOT
I am used to mag-drive pumps failing after a few years. but this one was the worst. On time was about 4 months - July, April, May and June over a period of 11 months. Well, it was really cheap.*********I made a mistake. The review was for a 290 Gph Danner pump purchased from another source in 2017. The pump here is working fine!

Perfect for fountain
I have a medium sized fountain and this pump puts out water two foot high through tubing before it enters fountain. Perfect water output.

Does work
I use this on a small fountain and it runs 6-9 hours a day, every day. No problem, just don't let debris collect and block pump intake.This is one of the lower volume pumps which I specifically wanted. Consider how much water you want to move before deciding on pump model/volume.

Adequate water rise - Died after 3 months
On the fully open setting, with the larger of the two connectors, these lift water about 2 feet.I heard a loud noise in the middle of the night and went out to find the source. This pump was making an incredible racket. I unplugged it and it no longer works.
