Lights work as they should but i did place a large order of more then 25 and within a week or 2 about 3 of them blew out.

Used these bulbs many times. Never had a problem.

When I first received this product I was disappointed because only 1 ring appeared to light up and I bought 6 bulbs for my reptiles. So I went to the pet store where these bulbs are $45 ea vs $15 ea here. Same thing happened. I decided to leave the light in for a few mins, checked back, and the whole bulb was lit up. Silly me didn't even think that it may take a few mins for it to reach full capacity. Now the bulbs just come on fully right away when my timers turn on. I really enjoy the great price for these, saves so much money when you have reptiles that need a new light every 4 months (per the vets recommendations). Overall great product. Pending longevity. I use these as regular lights once the uvb has faded out for my reptiles

I had purchased a Nat. Geo. terrarium for my new bearded dragon and assumed all the parts included would be up to requirements for keeping one. After doing some research I was very paranoid about the UVB bulb supplied, hearing horror stories about dragons having bone diseases from improper/insufficient lighting. The bulb that came with the set cast a blue glow and the UVB card provided with the tank rated it a medium-low. Not wanting to be a careless and cheap owner, I decided I should upgrade the bulb as soon as possible.The reviews on this bulb are great. As much as I've heard coil bulbs are terrible for reptiles and to only get tube lights, I did want to find a coil bulb that worked appropriately. Based on reviews I made this purchase.This bulb is nearly double the size of the bulb that came with the kit and much much brighter. Now I am assured he is receiving UVB rays while basking under his heat lamp. He seems more intrigued than anything about the new lighting he has, and being a baby still it's hard to say if his energy levels or appetite have changed as he's still a little ball of energy since I got him. He also appears to be more vibrant in color, however having brighter lighting could also be a cause.I will make appropriate updates as I look for any changes with this new bulb.***7/7/16 UPDATE***As of today this bulb is still going strong. I'm getting ready to replace it just in case its end is near, but it has not burnt out or dimmed in any way.***11/3/16 UPDATE***I now own a second bearded dragon (separate tank) and use this bulb as well. The new beardie is a hatchling from Petsmart, and though I knew not to get the sickly one, I intentionally purchased this one to try and help it. While I wouldn't call it noticeably "sick", it was not nearly as active as the other hatchlings in the cage next to it. This one was housed alone and appeared to have movement issues. Since getting it set up with appropriate heat and this UVB bulb, I now have a happy, twitchy, baby bearded dragon. He is so much more lively, can move just fine, and scampers around as he should. This bulb is high quality.

I've bought these before without issues but the most recent one stopped working after 2 weeks. I was trying to contact seller but couldn't find a way to do so. Only option I can see is returning it but I no longer have the box.

Globes are normally meant to last at least 6mths by past experience.This lasted 1 month at most and is gone.

I perched 10 10.0 26watt globes and one is broken and the other 9 don’t work... not a happy buyer

Compré esta bombilla, y cuando la desembale, venía el casquillo un poco desencajado de la bombilla, apretando un poco y tras un "click", parecía que había encajado bien, ahora, después de 3 meses y varias visitas al veterinario con la tortuga, nos dicen que la bombilla no funciona, así que he tenido a la pobre tortuga 3 meses sin luz uv, aunque la bombilla si enciende, pero no hace su función.No se como contactar con el vendedor para una posible devolución.

This light is very strong and bright. It is hard to look at it because it is so bright, as you can see from my pictures of it off and on in a flexible desk lamp that is also convenient for pointing it where you need it. Just be careful because it will give you a sunburn if you keep it too close to your skin for more than a couple of minutes. Very pleased with it. It came well packaged and protected and I use it everyday as a UV treatment for a couple patches of Psoriasis I get during the winter when I can't get sunlight on them, although it was not designed or sold for this purpose. Great buy.
