Outdoor Diamond Water Based Spar Urethane Gloss Wood Size: Quart

i used this product to put clear coats on maple window sills that replaced old, warped white pine sills in my home. I did about 4 coats with a spray gun and the results were fantastic. It dries very fast and forms a waterproof, UV protected finish on the wood that looks like skim milk when first applied but quickly turns into a crystal clear coat. On of the best features of this product is the quick and easy cleanup. A bit of soap and water and a quick rinse with warm tap water and you're done--no solvents or lacquer thinner needed. 5 st*****s! I'm adding photos of before and after. very happy with the results.

I've used this on several RC airplanes and it works great! It's a nice light-weight solution for waterproofing and adds a little depth and considerable gloss to my planes. I used it on foamy E-Flite planes like the Turbo Timber and the decals pop nicer now. My Clipped Wing Cub also looks glossy and this protects the fragile paint well.Cleanup is easy since it's water-based. One note for builders would be not to coat any foam that touches other foam; this coating has a decent amount of friction with itself, so joints make noise if they're both coated and rub together. I don't have any issues with it sticking to itself, but I got some inside the flap/wing interface area and it makes scrubbing noises sometimes.

I know it's original use is for boats, but it's great for outside decor, too. I have used it on several yard sculptures to waterproof them. It's a bit thin, so I did use two coats on most stuff. I have covered a carousel sculpture ( combination metal and resin), other ceramic items, cast iron, and an aluminum, painted carousel horse. It goes on with a slight haze, which dries totally clear when it hardens. Easy to use, just water and soap, but will harden in a brush to the point the brush is ruined if not cleaned quickly. So it's deceptive. You think it won't harden enough, but it does. The water base poly will keep colours from fading and it really repels the water. It doesn't give you that yellowing that oil based poly does.A quart goes a long way. Gives you a professional result. It deepens the colours of the item it's covering.

Good product but not glossy at all! More of a silk shimmer.

I liked this urethane because you aren’t required to sand in between coats(as long as you did the next coat within 2 hours of drying) saved me a lot of time on my picnic table. We’ve had for about a month and the 3 coats I put on is holding up well.

I used this on an outdoor shower and it has worked far beyond my expectations. The coating is two years old and the wood still looks like I did it yesterday. Very good product
