Automatical Watch from Aeromatic 1912 Germany A1372X-R

Things I really like:1 - The size and weight are perfect for me.2 - The face is classic without being gaudy.3 - After wearing it for a few months, I found it to be very accurate for a mechanical watch.Things I don't like:1 - The leather band fell apart within 1 month. I didn't care because I wanted a black velcro strap anyway.2 - The Date window is fairly small and difficult to read.What I learned:1 - I have to manually wind it a bit every couple of days if I am not Really Active. I think the auto wind feature is not as responsive as I first thought it might be.I would definitely but it again.

Solid build, with a nice "not cheap" feel. So far, most important of all, keeps sufficiently accurate time. The luminescence is very good too. The watch loses a second per day (been tracking the NIST for ~ a week) and the band is on the cheap side (I replaced it) but overall, for the price, this is worth buying for yourself or as a gift.

The watch came in faster then I had anticipated, and was of pretty good quality. It was solid and accurate (-2 sec/day), and looks better than the picture showed. One down side is the leather strap, which felt very cheap, but for the price I wouldn't expect it to be of any higher quality. The strap issue can be easily fixed with a NATO strap so all is well.
