MHP RCBB Rotisserie Counter Balance

Stopped the backlash rotisserie, works well.

This product worked well with my rotisserie, but will rust if left exposed to air and moisture.I would recommend it for the price.

Buy one, try it, buy another if needed. This tool is important.

This counter weight works well I lost mine when we moved to our new house

There is a warning "for 1/4" Spit Rod ONLY", but you can make it work for a 3/8" square (1/2" round) Weber spit with a bit of elbow grease.Could not put it on my 3/8" square spit - standard Weber gas grill. 3/8" square spit is made from a 1/2" rod and a corresponding size is required for the bushing, yet it is 7/16" as shipped. Made it work, but I have a drill press, and a 5/16"x18 tap to clean threads after enlarging the hole. If your shop is modest it could be a painful project 1/2" drill puts a lot of torque. Weight offset can be adjusted, but the rotation of the counterbalance can only be adjusted in 90-degree intervals on a square spit. Plan to use it for roasting duck, will see the usage experience.
