Organic Chaste Tree Berries Powder - 1 Pound

My new mare did a 180 when she went into heat this spring. This supplement was suggested, and she is calmer than she has ever been!!! It has also seemed to help with her arthritis. A+++++++++

I purchased this for my 18 yr. old Morgan mare. She had developed a hormonal cyst on her neck 2 yr. ago ( that is what the vet called it ) then this past year her endurance level crashed and she was laboring to go for our rides, sweated profusely, was lethargic and she had a cresty neck. This winter she started growing curly hair and I knew this was cushings or inulin resistance. ( My vet is not due till spring for teeth floating so did not verify this with blood work - just researching on my own). I read chaste tree berries may improve condition so I purchased this and after 1 1/2 months I am seeing remarkable improvements. The cyst is gone, no more curly hair, cresty neck almost soft again, the fatigue is gone and it's winter but haven't noticed heavy sweating when riding. I also put her on "Remission" back in September but never really noticed any difference - however they say cushing horses all have a deficiency in chromium so will continue using it just to cover everything. 2 teaspoons a day of chaste berry is all that is needed, I give it in the evening with her vitamin supplements.

My vet and a horse friend recommended this powder to me. I have a mare that harasses the other mares when she is in season. Her hormones during this time are very strong. I give her 1 to 2 teaspoons of this powder daily and it has really taken the edge off her cycle. She doesn't follow and nibble the other mares nearly as much and that makes for a happier pasture. Less kicking and biting. I will probably only have to give it to her during the summer months until her cycle lessens in the Fall and Winter. I also give her a small handful dried red raspberry leaves along with this powder and they seem to work well together for her. The leaves alone weren't enough to curb her behavior.

My horse was diagnosed with Cushings disease and was prescribed Prascend @ 3$ per pill per day. Noticed some improvement in her behavior. After several months found chastetree berry powder, tried it and within days major improvement in the way she felt and behavior.

This tea is very strong and can deplete your electrolytes. Had to stop using.

I bought this for my QH gelding, who is in his early 20s. He was showing signs of Cushings (loss of muscle tone, slow to shed, lethargy). I started him on a 1/2 tsp of the chaste tree berry powder, twice a day, and saw improvement almost immediately. He now gets 1 1/2 tsp, twice a day, three weeks on and one week off. It honestly seems like he's a younger horse again! He plays with his buddy and is rounding out much better. This is not a miracle cure. He gets a well-balanced, forage-based diet with free access to pasture and good quality hay, and he's also on a joint supplement. I'm just happy that this has improved his quality of life, and we will hopefully get to enjoy each other's company for a few more happy years.
