Works well for dogs less than 20 pounds

We have a small dog and a yard that is very awkwardly shaped with large trees right on the property line. There is really no easy way to fence our yard. I don’t know why it took me so long to get something like this! It had been so helpful to be able to let our dog out without holding him on the leash. It’s a little bit of a pain because he wraps himself around the patio furniture, but that is really not to blame on the product!My dog is only 10 pounds, and he has already loosened up the stake in the ground. Now, he’s a little bit crazy when people or dogs walk by, so he is definitely pulling on it! I think it’s going to be fine for him, but I don’t know if it will work well for a dog too much larger.

Our cat likes to go outside and explore, but he is isn't an outdoor cat and needs to be on a leash. This is perfect so he can be outside with us but we don't have to worry about holding onto the leash. It clips securely to his harness and gives him plenty of length to explore. He weighs 15 pounds and the screw hasn't budged in the ground, so it's definitely secure. We have also had friends bring over their small dog and it works great for her too!

Worked perfectly for my ferocious 10 pound Maltese! It keeps him relatively close to one side of the yard by his doggo friends and away from the other side where there are 2 big dogs that really want to eat him. Now he has more freedom and isn’t always just on a leash.

Had this for about a month now. Perfect for my 6-pound Yorkie. He can run around and get some exercise. Sometimes, the line gets tangled, but it’s easy to unravel. Noticed a little bit of rust, but I leave it outside all of the time, rain or shine. It works.

I liked this product initially. Unfortunately, after only two months of minimal use, the clips broke.

I bought 2 of these stakes the first one broke as we screwed it into the ground (which was soft). The second one is holding up for now we have two dachshunds that we hook up to one stake now but the good thing is the piece connected to the stake swivels to keep from 2 ropes tangling up! I am going to try to get a refund on the broken stake if possible..

Product works as described and isn't heavy for my 12 lb doggie. The line is actually a very good length. Really love this time-out line and stake set. Good value for your money.

We have 2 small dogs and as we live in an apt and go to the park every weekend but they must remain on a leash we put 2 of these 40' apart so they can be next to each other but not get tangled. This allows the dogs to roam around while we relax in our camping chairs or have a picnic. I do not see any issue with durability. This should last for years

I ordered but didn't realize what size dog this was for. It was not described well in the advertisement but it said 900+ pounds of breaking force, when package arrived it was clearly for a smaller dog. I returned items no issues and received a refund. If you have a small dog this product would work fine.

This leash is absolutely amazing when you want to give your dog some freedom but but stop them from wondering too far! I have now bought two and cannot recommend them enough! I keep one in the car and one at cottage! Highly recommend!

It's a little soon to tell but looks solid and I could have sworn I ordered 25feet cable but seems to be fine. If things change I will re submit this review

Had troubles getting the corkscrew into the ground at our campsite, but the cable is long enough to wrap around a tree and still give our pup room to explore. Will give it another shot when there are less trees around, but we are more then satisfied with just wrapping it around a tree
