SonicWall TZ350 - Security appliance - GigE

If you are used to the SonicOS of before, it will take some adjustment and finding where they are now. However, functionality wise, it does the same thing. Not a fan of all the added services so a basic firewall functionality is what I'm looking for. I'd prefer a lower priced Sonicwall without the unneeded services (i.e. Intrustion Prevention, Antivirus Gateway, etc.)

Everything I need for my new network at the company I support I needed a firewall that was easy to figure and allowed for more than one input to separate Internet provides. You can add other features easily when you need them it is very and flexible

They claim no subscription for the basic features, but no support to the basic features? If the you pay the subscription, then you have support to the subscription features, but on the basic features you’re in your own.

The TZ350 is a total piece of junk and SonicWall support is less than worthless. Very high latency and slow web page loading. I yanked this POS out and put my old router back in after just 2 days. I will never buy or recommend another SonicWall after this experience.

All of the features are locked and require you to buy a license. It was randomly blocking local intranet traffic with nothing being displayed in the logs. Avoid! Get something much cheaper like an Edgerouter.
