Everyone should have at least 1 of these.
A couple years ago my guard dogs got in a fight and 1 put a decent gash in the shoulder of the other. We went to the vet and it cost $165 to put 7 staples in his shoulder. I decided to go and buy a couple staplers that have on hand after that. I've had to use them twice now and both times they've worked flawlessly. I will always have them on hand from now on.

Good to have just in case.
Sealed packaging ready to use if or when needed. Safer than stitches to do. Plus came with staple removal tool.

Good for the hiker and first aid kit.
Haven't had to use it-yet, but seems very easy. A fast way to close a gash. I purchased it for the dog park first aid kit.

The remover tool is A+
Okay, so I mostly purchased this for the staple REMOVER tool, it was just nice that it came with the staple gun, I will keep it for emergencies. I used the remover for 13 staples I had in my leg from a real doctor. Since Covid cases are extra bad now, I didn't want to sit in the clinic with all the Covid people again to get the staples removed professionally. The remover tool is SO EASY TO USE, and almost COMFORTABLE! I didn't have nor need any numbing medicine for removal. Also, as others have mentioned, each item comes in it's own, sterile package, which is great. Plus a zip-lock bag to keep it cleaner and dust-free after you open it from the sterile package to use it. I think it said both items are disposable, but I will most likely reuse it on myself if needed. To be honest, I never read the instructions that came with it, I just watched a few videos online about how to remove skin staples, and it was so simple and easy.

Great for emergencies, but proper care should be recieved
I do a lot of work with wood, metals, and tools.I'm unfortunately, something of a butterfinger. So I'm often getting stitches for various lacerations and punctures.I have this in my kit for that "oh crap" wound that I need to keep closed on my way to an urgent care, but cant do it while driving.Of course, while typing this I realize I should put a pressure bandage on it and duct tape it closed until getting proper medical care. This should NOT replace proper medical care/treatment by a professional.Wounds need to be properly irrigated and cleaned before closure. Also, these hurt a lot when used without a local anesthetic.

Comes in Sterile Seal
Products arrived together and in good condition. Both are in separate Sterile sealed packages. We ordered these for our farm's emergency care kit; and, hope we never have to use them. However, if seconds count in an injury (human or animal) we have what we need to render instant care and the security of knowing that it is sterile. This is an item everyone should have in their emergency kit; it is a small investment that could aid in saving a life; and, it is the sort of thing you need to have gotten before you need it.
