Much nicer than expected!
I purchased these boots for my teenaged daughter to pair with a Victorian/Gothic style dress. She normally wears a Size 6 in all styles of shoes, and the Size 6 in these boots is true to size and they fit her just right. Her foot is slightly narrow and she has plenty of room in the width in these, so I feel like they might be able to also accommodate a slightly wide foot. As it is, she has plenty of room to wear thick, cushy socks to offset the typical discomfort one experiences from standing in heels for hours. They have a very small amount of cushioning in the insole (maybe 1/8th inch thick) and the very slightest amount of arch support, but because they have a low 2.5” heel they are still fairly comfortable for wearing for long periods of time. My daughter said her feet were feeling a little achy at the end of the night, but it wasn’t anything more than what she normally feels when wearing heels. In other words, they’re not exactly like walking on clouds but they’re not devices of torture, either. Also, the heels flair at the bottom so they’re very stable like stacked heels with the added bonus of being super cute! The boots are lace-up and zip up so you can adjust the laces to your preferred fit and then use the zipper for easy on/easy off wearing. With all the comments about how these boots are great for wide calves, I was concerned that they would end up being too loose for my daughter because she has very slender calves. However, they actually fit her calves just fine and she could even adjust the laces to wear them a little bit tighter if she wanted. Another plus we discovered with these boots is that the tongue is designed with a loop near the top through which the laces can be attached. Anyone who has ever worn tall, lace-up boots in which the tongue required frequent straightening can appreciate this as the loop keeps the tongue upright and centered while wearing these boots.Because these boots have a very pointed toe, they do make your foot look longer than when wearing shoes with a round toe, so be warned. While they are very feminine in appearance, they’re not going to give you the appearance of tiny, dainty feet. They do create the illusion of very slender feet, however. As far as quality and construction, I try to be realistic with my expectations based on price so I didn’t go into this expecting Louboutin quality. Having said that, I feel these boots are quite well made given the $40 price tag at the time of my purchase. They are made with a PU and polyester lace upper. The thick lace is very pretty and has a solid backing so you can wear comfy socks under these boots, and the upper is supported with a cushiony foam type of material that makes them very comfortable around your calves. The metal grommets and hooks are lightweight but they feel secure. The boots overall are lightweight but the soles and heels still feel sturdy. The stitching looks nice and I can’t find any areas that look sloppy.Since the style of these boots is Victorian/Steampunk/Gothic, in addition to photos of the boots, I included photos of my daughter wearing them with a similarly themed dress to give you an idea of how they’ll look in real life. I have to say these boots are really perfect for this style of clothing. I honestly would have been happy with a lesser quality boot at this price given how perfect they look with this style of clothing, but the fact that the quality was better than I expected for the price was just an added bonus. My daughter absolutely loves these boots and I’m also very happy with this purchase because they’re just really great boots. If you’re on the fence and worried by the low price, you should go for it. You won’t be disappointed.**Note - If my review has been helpful to you, click on the button below and let me know!**

Adorable
These boots are perfect for vintage attire. They're comfortable and has a perfect size heel. They do run big so my first order was returned. It had a one week trial first before buying that was perfect. Once they are kept after 7 days, then they charge. I had no problem returning the first pair for the correct size. I love these vintage boots!

They look great! But a bit big
These are very pretty shoes! Very witchy, which I love, however they seem to run a bit big. I usually am a 9-9.5, depending on the shoe, and I ordered a 9 of this particular shoe. Unfortunately it is around a whole size too big for my feet. I am still going to keep them, since the laces hold them in place well and they look great / are comfortable!

Beautiful!
These boots are exquisite. I consider myself to be pretty fashion forward, so I bought these boots for wearing on a normal basis. I don't have any cosutmes to wear them with, nor any weddings to attend. I just loved the style of boot and really wanted a pair for myself.FIT:- Fabulous. I wear an 8 in any heel lower than 3.5 inches, and these fit perfectly. I also have a slightly wider foot than normal (thought I wouldn't consider it "wide") and I was afraid these would be narrow. Not at all!- The calf area is a little big. I have lean, muscular legs (from living in my stilettos) so my legs are a little smaller around than most women. These boots have room in the calf area, even when they are laced as tight as they can go. They are still pretty form-fitting, though. I still love them.STYLE:- The lace goes all the way up the boot. The boot goes up to mid calf. Then, there is this miraculous ZIPPER on the inside of each boot that allows you to lace it up just once, then from that point forward- zip and you're done! Lovely. And it doesnt distract from the elegance of the boot. It all looks nicely put together.- The lace inlay is not see-through like I originally thought it was. It is white lace over white material. Still beautiful though.- As much as I feared these boots would look a little "witchy" if worn with every day skirts and such, they really dont. I even put them on with a mini skirt yesterday and some pearls, and the boots still looked fabulous.- Color is slightly off-white. I wouldn't say Ivory, and I wouldn't say White.QUALITY:- The material is a little low quality. I'm not sure if these boots will hold up through any kind of rain, snow, etc. But we're going to find out when I wear them as part of my shoe rotation this winter! I'm concerned the material might start to peel after water has touched it.- The shoe feels sturdy and I'm not afraid it'll fall apart.SHIPPING:- 5 out of 5. Each boot was in it's own sleeve of plastic, stuffed with packing to keep their shape, then boxed, wrapped in shipping plastic and labeled. I received within 5 days after ordering.

I love anything victorian.
Nice heel height. I like the fact that the laces for the boot can be adjusted to suit either thin/thicker calves. Boots exactly like picture.

Beautiful boots
My cousin bought this for his girlfriend for Christmas. I had to order if for him as he did not have a account on Amazon. He advised that his girlfriend absolutely loved the boots and received so many complements.
