I used this to replace a porch light that was enclosed and filled up with bugs about twice a year. I like this because there is no place that can trap bugs.

First off- I LOVE the look of this light. So disappointed that I have to return it. What should have been a half hour project turned into two hours with no solution. To properly install this light you really need a commercial style metal double gang box. I have a residence with the traditional plastic boxes that just aren't wide enough to accept the plate with the mounting screws that attach to the fixture.I read other reviews and saw people were buying different screws. Went and tried that at the local ace hardware and I bought multiple lengths. None of them worked. So I'm admitting defeat. I went to the local Lowe's and grabbed two kind of similar lights (but not as cool) and had them up in 20 minutes.So moral of the story: check your box and I would not attempt on a normal residential box. LOVE this light, wish it would have worked.

Really love the look and the texture of this galvanized light. I'll admit I purposed and outdoor light in our laundry room. The light works well with our reclaimed shelved and shiplap walls. I will say that they depth of the shade really casts the light at a very downward angle so there are shadows on upper walls without additional lighting. It works for our purposes, but may not for others.
