I recently installed a pressure reducing valve on my mains water pipe as the water pressure in my house was excessive and I was told by my plumber that it could damage my new combi boiler. If everything is working fine with the pressure as a whole now, there is one thing I hadn't planned and this was my upstairs 8.5 kW electric shower not having enough pressure anymore. I was left with few options but I decided to go for the cheapest first: This shower head. The problem with electric showers is the reduction of pressure for hot water anyway. (other options: upgrading for a more powerful shower or buying a thermostatic one).I didn't expect much of this shower head to be fair but the reviews were good so I thought I would give it a go. I was actually pleasantly surprised. I think the pressure becomes better mainly because the head is larger. There are 4 positions to choose from and 2 of them are really effective according to me (position 3 and 4 in the picture of the description. Wide rain spray and central spray). With the central spray you obtain some pretty decent pressure which is ideal to rinse shampoo/soap and the other one (large) I was referring to, is OK too. The second large spray is a bit weak according to me.I would maybe warn you not to expect miracles but in my particular case there is definitely an improvement largely due to the size and settings of the shower head. To the extent that I am going to keep this option and possibly go for a more powerful shower when this one stops functionning.I hope this review was helpful and don't hesitate to ask questions if you need any help.

In the last year (purchased Jan 2040) I have tried SEVEN, yes SEVEN, shower heads all claiming to offer good water pressure.For even moderate water pressure in a shower it is recommended that the bottom of your cold water storage tank be AT THE VERY LEAST a distance of one metre above your shower head.Well guess what........in my home, our cold water storage tank is so low that our shower head is significantly HIGHER than the bottom of the cold water storage tank. So as a consequence water pressure in our home is rubbish.So in order to address the problem I decided to do two things before buying a pump.The first thing was to install a large bore shower hose, that is to say, a shower hose with an internal diameter of around 11mm (most hoses are significantly smaller at around 7mm).The next thing was to purchase a good shower head.This shower head is brilliant and you can see the result in the video. The result is brilliant when you consider that ALL of the other shower heads could provide water flow at roughly only half the height as this shower head and some weren't even providing as wide a spray pattern.I am still going to fit a pump, but at least now I know that the pump will not have to do all the work because this shower head is doing an excellent job (I suspect that with a pump fitted the pressure might end up being too strong at full blast)Another good thing about this product is that, unlike another shower head I tried today, this shower head doesn't get uncomfortably hot to hold; it's well insulated against hot water temperatures (and our hot water is extremely hot).I recommend this product without reservation.UPDATE (28 December 2022):This thing is sensational. But you will only realise how great it is if.......like me, you have abysmal water pressure and.......you have tried EIGHT different shower heads.To put into perspective, I have another shower head which is very good and which I would score 9/10; in comparison this shower head is better and I would score 10/10.In fact, after numerous tests in numerous shower configurations I would be VERY VERY VERY surprised if there's a shower head better than this one for providing good flow in abysmal water pressure scenarios (if this shower head doesn't work for you then I would say you have major plumbing problems that you'll need to call your plumber in to fix e.g. too many 90° bends in your pipework, limescale buildup in pipes, exceptionally low pressure for which a pump will be required etc)

Was a bit dubious at first, we have a bath / tap shower and the water pressure has always been low that we got nothing out above hip height. Changed the shower head to this one and got great results, we can now hang the shower at head height and now have the choice between a bath or a shower. The water pressure is still low but the difference is that we get a full amount of water out. This shower head really does give better water pressure. Would defo recommend this product.

So pound for pound this might actually be the most useful thing I've ever purchased. If you've got a low flow rate through your shower for whatever reason, then this unassuming little shower head will squeeze some decent pressure out. It does this by narrowing the jets. The end result is quite a 'pointy' experience and gives your scalp a serious massage. You can feel each individual jet, rather than feeling like you're under a waterfall - but it's flat and wide and covers well, gives an immersive shower experience, and is plenty strong enough to get shampoo out of your hair. It even has a useful massage function, which is crazy considering the flow rate of my system is only 6-8 litres per minute at showering temperature.If you've got a higher flow rate in the 10+ range and you want to use all of that flow then I would not recommend this shower head because I can imagine it would feel like needles drilling into your skull. But used in the 5-10 range it feels amazing, and if you've got less than 5 then I'd consider it essential.It barely weighs anything, it never gets gunked up (you just rub the nozzles to knock out the timescale). I've had it for years, and I just can't fault it.Note, this shower head is for a standard bracket that mounts on the side of the pole. I had to modify it for my front mounted bracket, to get it to spray downwards rather than horizontally.

Beim Auspacken dachte ich, es wäre irgendwie ein Fehlkauf, denn es wirkte nicht besonders wertig. Ich habe dennoch das Set installiert. Der Schlauch hat die perfekte Länge für die Dusche. Der Duschkopf passt in die vorhandene Halterung, weder stramm noch locker, genau richtig.Der Duschkopf liegt gut in der Hand und ist sehr groß, das war dann auch der Moment, wo sich mein erster Eindruck wieder änderte, von „naja“ in „doch ganz cool“.Als ich dann das Wasser laufen ließ, kam eine Wolke aus Mikrotröpfchen heraus. Es entstand wirklich ein Luftzug, ein kleiner Wind. Total cool!Die anderen Einstellungen sind auch gut, insgesamt ein gutes Erlebnis. Der Wasserdruck ist richtig angenehm.Jetzt muss das Teil den Langzeittest bestehen. Ich bin auf jeden Fall für‘s erste sehr zufrieden.

Endlich einen festen Wasserstrahl! Ich hab einen duschkopf gesucht der viel Wasser durch lässt da wir warmwasser nur über einen Durchlauferhitzer bekommen und dementsprechend der Wasserdruck niedrig ausfällt, das ist nun Geschichte !

Sólo la he usado dos veces desde que la he instalado, pero la primera impresión ha sido muy positiva. El material es plástico cromado, aunque parece ligeramente más fuerte que otras alcachofas de ducha que hay por ahí.Lo importante para mi era que tuviera presión, va en una ducha en la que hay poca presión, y la alcachofa que había hasta ahora daba chorros muy débiles, y en ese sentido cumple muy muy bien.Tiene 4 modos que son fácilmente seleccionables con un giro de la pieza central de la alcachofa. Dos de ellos dan todo el ancho del disco, con chorros finos pero con muy buena presión, los otros dos dan chorro desde el centro, uno de ellos con chorros más gruesos pero en menor cantidad, y el otro en modo spray.Por el precio, muy contento con el producto.

Hatten vorher einen Hansgrohe Crometta Ecosmart Duschkopf. Der war auch nicht schlecht, nur kam immer weniger Wasser. Haben eher Probleme mit dem Wasserdurchfluss als mit geringem Druck. Also im Angebot diesen Duschkopf zum Probieren gekauft. Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit.
