TRENDBOX 10.4" Chinese Traditional Nylon-Cloth Handheld Folding Fan - Red

I purchased this fan to use, not as a decoration or costume prop. It works great, is sturdy, folds up, and fits in my purse. It does take two hands to open but stays open nicely and moves a lot of air. Sure helps relieve those sudden "overheating" moments we older women get. I keep one in my purse to use on the go and one with me in the house. Highly recommend.

Thick fans with a nice loud sound when opening and closing the fan

Great bamboo fan. I was looking for a very traditional "paper" folding fan, and this one fits the bill and then some. I didn't want anything that wasn't biodegradable, so no plastic ribs or guards. But I was ok with a nylon fabric which is the actual working part of the fan. Which is more durable than paper. I felt that this structure would be more long lasting. The guards and the ribs are made of tough and durable bamboo. I also love the color which is nice and subdued. And lastly for me, the size is perfect, big but not unwieldy, at 10". I find this to be a nice Chinese fan size, much bigger than the average Japanese fan at 8", which is a bit small for me.My wife and I were caught off guard when we visited Japan and it was super hot and humid. We had bought some hand fans there, and though the fans were super well made with quality materials, they were just too small. They didn't provide a good enough breeze for the effort. This fan will be much better, as it more basic and utilitarian vs. something "fancy".

Literally the worst thing I’ve ever bought online. It’s flimsy and cannot close right because the wood part is already broken and there’s no adhesive attaching the paper to the wood. DONT BUY THIS

Very quick delivery. The fans seem EXTREMELY sturdy. They are very tight and difficult to open ( no just popping them open with a flick of your wrist). Once open, they don’t fold/close back up easily (requires two hands to fold the blades to a closed position).

I am so happy with this fan! You do need two hands to open it, but I’m totally fine with that because it speaks to the sturdiness of the build. It fans really well, and it’s cute too. I got the yellow one!

Finally after ordering 2 separate times! 1 was too big even though they said it was 10" the other was not bamboo it was plastic! This one is the right size and pretty!
