Dream of the Blue Turtle (7) (Mermaid Tales)

My daughter loved the book!I like how the book has some of the have pictures of the turtle houses and interview questions.I just wish that they had drawings for all the turtle houses and all the interview questions

Kiki can see into the future, but is that a good thing? She sees a classmate in trouble and tries to stop it but what she does actually causes the problem!Debbie Dadey has a great kid-friendly writing style that really gets the reader into the story. Her mermaid world is fun and the characters are believable and you want to know more about them. Her books also have a great message to them. This one warns of the dangers of leaving plastic bags in the ocean because they look like jelly fish to sea turtles. These books are geared towards girls but there are merboy characters in the books that boys will like too. I recommend this book and series to independent readers or kids looking for a fun read!

My 8 year old daughter fell in love with this series. The only thing is that she is on a 6th grade reading level, so she read the whole series in less than a week. She does reread them though and loves the fact that she owns them all.

My 7 year old loves this series. She is obsessed with mermaids and I'm so happy we found the series to help her make the jump to chapter books. She does read a bit above her grade level (currently in 2nd), so this may be more on level for 3rd grade.

Niece loved it!

This series is my daughter's favorite. Lighthearted yet exciting, nothing scary to give her nightmares or fears. A great choice for girls who don't want anything too scary.

Love the book and got it when promised. Glad I was home, stupid postal service laid it on my porch and it had started to rain.
